34 Anne awoke to find herself alone. She smiled and stretched, then pulled the blanket up to her chin. A sense of contentment filled her. She wasn’t quite sure what it was, so unfamiliar was the feeling. Recalling the previous day’s events, she decided she had made the right choice. Ballinderry would be her new home. She liked being able to help, whether it was with a horse or in the making of plans.
