  Maddy's POV   The drive to the downtown hospital was a blur of city lights and my racing thoughts.   This wasn't how I'd imagined meeting the Harrison family.   Far from it.   I swallowed hard; the tight lump in my throat made it hard to loosen my anxiety.   Could I really pull off this fake girlfriend act in front of these people?   What if they hated me and saw through this charade?
