Chapter 51 – The Call
After the Couple session with Maybell Isiah returned to his home, his body felt dejected but his soul slightly uplifted after being near his love the last few hours. Just being in Maybells presence reinvigorated a part of him that had felt sluggish and lagging. Every touch and remembered feeling of her warmth held close in his arms unknotted the thick prickly ball of fear and worry that he had been carrying for nearly two weeks since Maybell had all but kicked him out of her apartment.
For the first time he felt somewhat dejected about the fact that there was legitimately nothing that he could physically DO to just change the current dynamic between him and Maybell. He just understood that he had to be patient, and honestly Isiah was not a man known to be patient
