The Mythicals (Chapter #2)

The Mythicals were a group of special students who had powers. When Daisy found out she had powers, she accidentally broke their local fountain, so they had to move. Daisy and Conner got in the den. They sat down and waited for the others. Conner delt out five cards while Daisy made some seats out of stepladders and cushions.

A minute passed, and finally, three other people came in. One was a girl, and the others were boys. "Sorry we're late." Explained the first boy, Flynn. "Teachers." Sighed Dahlia. Dahlia , who was the youngest out of the five, sat down on the cushioned chair closest to the door. Jacob sat down next to Daisy. He looked up at Daisy and asked, " Did they find out?"

"Luckly not." She responded, looking at her feet sorrowfully. Jacob was the smartest and most secretive about their gang. "That was too close." Reminded Flynn, who was leaning on the door. "Until we know what your powers are, you need to be careful." All of them knew what their power was, except Daisy: Flynn could travel between the Olympus and reality, Dahlia could control nature, Jacob had enhanced intelligence, and Connor could shapeshift to any animal. "The last time we let our guard down about your power, you broke that fountain!" Continued Jacob sternly, showing a flicker of rage in his eyes. Daisy was about to protest, but Connor shot her a look, so Daisy stayed quiet. Suddenly, the bell rang for the end of break, and everyone jumped to their feet and ran out to the hallway. After separating, Daisy and Connor rushed to their next class. But before Connor and Daisy could get into their class, two people, a man and a woman dressed in black, stepped in their way. " Excuse me." Said the woman with a stern voice. With that, she held up an id showing she was from the Protection and Schooling for Mythical Children, or P.S.M.C. " We need you to come with us."

Reluctantly, Connor and Daisy followed them outside. Outside was a black van. On seeing this, Connor and Daisy looked at each other with a look of horror on their face. They could see Jacob, Flynn, and Dahlia tied up through the blinds.
