The Mythicals

Daisy woke up to the warmth of the sun beaming on her face. Her brown hair and freckled face soking in the sunlight.She got out of bed and put her best uniform on, then she lazily walked down the stairs for breakfast. She grabbed a sticky note of the fridge from her mum. Her mum was a policewoman, so she had to go to work early. Daisy read it. It said:"Sorry for not being there. Godluck on your presentation. Lots of love, Mum." Suddenly, a surge of stupidity. How could she forget that today was class presentation day. Daisy had made a presentation about climate change. She rushed out of her house and ran to school. When she got to school, you sat down and waited for the presentation to begin. She was called first. But before she could even slip a word in Jake,who was the meanest out of the class shouted, "weirdo!" At once, the whole class burst into laughter. Oh no. The tears welled up in her eyes. She held them back, trying not to cry in public. The world seemed to be going colourful.She needed to blink. But if she did , she might let her tears escape. She didn't care at this point. She needed to blink. She finally blinked, but as she did, a little tear rolled down her face. The laughter grew until it was unbearable to listen to anymore. She ran towards the girl's bathroom. She could still hear the faint laughters and cries of joy. Once she was secured in a cubicle, she let all of her tears run down her face. Her face was violet with embarrassment. She sat curled up on the toilet until she heard a voice. It said, "Are you alright, Daisy?" Daisy knew what voice it was. It was the voice of her best friend, connor. Connor was outside her cubicle. "Look, Daisy. I know you're upset, but can we just talk, please?" Connor pleaded. Daisy couldn't bear hearing Connor's sad voice. She unlocked a door and leapt into conner's, now open, arms. Quickly, Daisy beckoned for connor to follow her. It was break time. They both ran out of the girls' bathroom and ran into a supply cupboard. It could only be recognised as their super secret. You see, Daisy had a secret which only Connor and her gang knew about. Daisy was a part of the mythicals...
