“Your highness I know my daughter...... Bruce is right......I have to go to the wild......”

Just then a guard rushed in.

“Your highness...... General Scout.....we’ve found your daughter.....”

Outside Glint led the kids into the palace. Seeing her, the guards rushed to her

“Where have you been? What happened to you little miss?”

Glint didn’t say a world, her small face was as plain as ever. She look up and saw her father running down towards her, she immediately lower her head.

“What happened here? Where the hell did you run off to?!” He yelled

“General calm down....she’s still a kid” the King cut in. “Guards.....take her in, let the maids bath her and let he rest....”

Glint look up as her eye gaze deep into her father’s eyes “the men inside the wagon, they adopt kids and sell them.....these other kids, I saved them.....”

“What?!!!....”

“What does she mean?”the king asked Scout

Glint explained everything

“So you ran away because you thought I don’t need you?” General asked

“I didn’t thought, I knew......”

“Glint...”

“It’s my fault father, I know....”

“It’s not your fault......”

“Then it’s my mother’s fault?” She asked and everywhere was silent “back outside the walls that’s where I belong! Your family.....they.....”

“They are your family too....your brother couldn’t wait to meet you.....”

“But.....”

“I won’t send you away from me....don’t worry... no matter what you’re my daughter and my responsibility and I love you....”

Glint smiled.

Prince Trevor and Marvin were two best friends as they practice their swordsmanship.

Marvin strike Trevor but Trevor gave a defend attack, they both landed on the ground laughing.

“We’ll never be able to defeat each other....” Marvin said

“True talk my friend....”

“Speaking of swordsmanship have you seen my little sister? All the knights are talking about her”

Prince Trevor and Marvin were two best friends as they practice their swordsmanship.

Marvin strike Trevor but Trevor gave a defend attack, they both landed on the ground laughing.

“We’ll never be able to defeat each other....” Marvin said

“True talk my friend....”

“Speaking of swordsmanship have you seen my little sister? All the knights are talking about her”

“The little lad we all thought was a boy who came with General Scout?”

“Yes.....she’s my sister..... My mom and other sisters doesn’t seem to like her or be in good terms with her existence, father was wondering if he could entrust her to me while he’s busy.... I was hoping to bring her to train with us.... she a beast we ought to learn from....”

“Hahaha true....I heard the General and his men personally trained her to survive outside the walls.... I’d love to meet her.... we three will be unstoppable.....”

Just like that Glint became good friends with her brother and the prince, though she still dress like a lad.

Glint lived her life in the palace, one day she came across Mrs Scout at the hall way. She bowed and wanted to walk away

“Who do you think you are?” She stopped her tracked when she heard her speak. “You must be a disgrace to my children’s bloodline.....”

“I’m sorry about that....”

“Oh it talks too..... you should be sorry to your p********e of a mother who seduces my husband to give birth to something like you......” she cursed

“Woman. I respect your emotions but the mistake of my parents will not be used as a mockery.... You should respect yourself as the General’s wife. It’s not like I’m a threat to you or anyone else....”

“A threat? A threat? What makes you think you’re a threat? You can blind my husband and my son but you’ll never fool me......let me make things clear! I know your motives for being close to the prince, he’ll never look at a w***e like you....”

Glint smiled “Thank you with all my heart for that reminder...” she turned and walk away

The sound of drums and yelling could be heard as the smell of fresh blood brought pleasure to the party.

Vagon the Demon King was busy in the open with girls all over him giving him the pleasure he desire.

“Sire....” Kyla walked in as her eyes shone with jealousy....every demon maidens fear her cause they believe Vagon belongs to her and her alone. She was a very powerful demon and she was Vagon right hand.

“Uhmmm.....whats the news?” Vagon hoarse and heavy voice sounded

“The witches seem to be planning ahead, the prophecy time seem to be close....” she responded

“Uhmm.....Witches.....I despise those creatures!” He groan and wave his hands to dismiss the girls.... his well built body with his dragon tattoo which almost covered his entire chest, back and stomach. He put on his robe and glared at the drummers who immediately stopped. Everywhere was quiet.

“Shadow!......” he summoned as a complete dark figure like his shadow appeared and bow “Sire.....”

“Any news about my traitors?” He asked

“Your brothers have going hands with the other parties, “Lusian joined hands with the witches, while Stephan joined hands with the ancient demons...... but they are nothing compare to you.....”

Vagon smiled, he was the youngest child but yet the most powerful as he claimed his father’s throne thousands of years ago. His parents have gone to the underworld to retire, now he’s the ruler and not just the ruler, he’s the greatest ruler ever existed in the all of the Demon Realm.

“Kyla.....go find out my prophecy....”

“Vagon.....you know very well......”

“You don’t want to go? Then forget it. Shadow?”

Shadow appeared “sire....”

“Go check how my prophecy is doing...... I’m an impatient man when it comes to matters like this.....”

Glint was 15 years old but she was very popular among the citizens, no man had defeated her swordsmanship both home and abroad. Many challengers have failed to bring her skill down.

“Glint are you even human?” Prince Trevor asked

“We both know she’s not human......” Marvin cut in

“You two boys are the wizards and demons here!”

“Hey mind your manners we are older than you!” Marvin cut in

“Not only that! You can’t talk to the crown prince like that”

“Older my foot! Crown prince my foot! The day you defeat me in a sword fight I’ll acknowledge the both of you, but till then, I’m the oldest and I’m the crown Princess......” Glint mocked.

Ariel walked in with Glint sisters

“Hello Glint....” Ariel knew how casual Glint is.

“Hello Ariel....” Glint smiled “how’s your knife practice going?”

“Oh it’s going well, if not you’re always busy with the boys I’d have ask you to come train me personally.....”

“I’d love that.....I’m free now if you want, I can show you some moves....”

“Oh really? Please do.....”

Glint was a master of all tool, everyone were in awe when she dropped he knife. She made it looked so easy.

“Wow......that’s beautiful.....”

“Alright we should all go in. My birthday party is tomorrow.....we need rest cause it’s party all night...”

While girls wore beautiful Glint was all dressed like a man. Her hair was packed in a ponytail.....

“Why didn’t you wear the gown I sent to your room?” General Scout asked

“General, what is there’s an attack? It’s the prince birthday, you never know what could happen” she smiled and he chuckled

“This girl!....”

Princess Casandra walked in, she was breathtaking, her eyes seem to glance over to Glint and she frown a bit before walking to great the king. She was Trevor fiancée since birth, they both seem to love each other. She was so princess like as her steps and movements where smooth and majestic.

As she took her sit her eyes meet mine again this time Glint frown. She quickly look away.

“Sandra.....” Trevor call her with a smiled as he bow

“Trevor....” she bow.

They started smiling and talking.

Glint was sitting alone when she saw them walking towards her.

“Glint so it’s you who wanted to steal my fiancée away from me?” Trevor said, he was laughing so hard.

“Trevor stop!....” Sandra looks shy.

“What do you mean?” Glint said and Sandra was shocked

“She......she’s a girl?.....” she was flattered “oh no......”

“She was crushing on you....” Trevor laughed louder

“Hahaha.....it’s okay I get that a lot.....” Glint smiled

“You’re really handsome......I mean pretty.....why do you dress like this?” She asked

“Long story.....”

“She’s General Scout daughter......”

“What?!”

“Let’s leave the gist for another day......”

The party kept going on and on but Glint never lose her ground

Soon the window glass shattered and a figure flew in.... they had bodies like human but they had wings like birds attached to their hands. They were on masks. Feeling unsecured Glint attack them. It was a rough fight between the three of them, seeing they couldn’t keep up with her skills they withdraw.

“We come in peace!” The male voice sounded

“Who are you?!” Glint yelled as she was already panting

“Enough Glint!” General Scout yelled.

The two figures transformed into humans as they walk towards the King. They bow and kneel.

“Greetings King of Drahanam. Like other kingdoms, we have come to notify you of the coming of the prophecy....”

“The prophecy?” The king frown

“Yes, the prophecy of the plague, the dead upon the dead, the.....”

“ENOUGH!!! Why should I believe witches like you?”

“Believe is or not it’s coming and it’s coming fast! Form an alignment with us....”

“So this is what it’s all about?”

“Not just with us....what’s coming is really big, both the witches, wizards, demons and humans have to come hand in hand.....”

“Hmmm.......but I thought witches and demons are not in good terms?”

“This is a matter of life and death.....We the Witches have decided to form alignment with you.......what do you think?”

The King look around and his counsel seem to nod “we’ll get back to you......”

“You are to form an alignment with the demons too.....the demon king is our last hope.....Vagon!”

“How do we find them?” General Scout asked

The witches turned and looked at me.....”she........”

“Me? What about me?” I frown but they pulled out their wings and fly off. “Hey!!!!!”

All eyes were on Glint.

“Come child...” the King called

“Your highness......”

“Do you know what they are talking about?”

“No......”

“Don’t think too much....we’ll figure it out.....”

Glint kept thinking what the witches meant when they said “her....”

She heard a voice “we’re waiting for you.....”

“Who’s there?!” She drag out her sword “show yourself.....!!!!” But there was no one. She was sure she heard something. Just then the door opened and Marvin entered

“What’s wrong?”

“Nothing I thought I heard someone.....” she withdraw her sword

“It’s like you’re the chosen one” he mocked

“I don’t understand......”

“Do you not know about the prophecy? Ok let me tell you. A time will rise. The time of the dead rule the undead, time will met the end of itself, plagues will bring the living.....”

“Ewww stop! I hate it”

“Here comes the fun part. Now Humans, Witches and Demons form an alignment to face this war.....but there must be a price to get the demons to form an alignment with us.....”

“A price?”

“Yes......marriage. So.....Princess Ariel....”

“No way! Princess Ariel will marry the demon king? He’s an old beast! And by the way! I thought you and Princess Ariel.....”

“It’s for the greater good....”

“But what does it has to do with me?” I asked

“Maybe there is a puzzle, I don’t know......”

“I don’t like this....I don’t feel good”

Vagon had a small smile on his lips as he saw his little prophecy. “She call me old and ugly? She’s likable. She’s a good fighter too....how adorable.....” his voice was soft and smooth.

Kyla’s eyes flash with jealousy. “We don’t know if she’s the one yet”

“She’s mine.....I know what’s mine” Vagon smiled deeper

“Sire. Are you going to see her?”

“No shadow, she’ll come see me.....”

“Oh.....you’re going with the prophecy now? I thought.....”

“Quiet Kyla.....” his face turned cold “go organize a party tonight......”

The witches gathered together.

“No way!!! We can’t rob back to back with the Demons! Those disgusting creatures!!!”

“I can’t even think! I hate them!”

“Enough! Do you all prefer we die?!!!!” Queen Sasara yelled “Mkasa!”

“My Queen?”

“What did the king of Drahanam say? They are the only hope we have to connect with the demons!”

“King Coles will sure do as we say.....”

“Good. Now all we have to do is wait. Prepare for tonight incantation, it’s a full moon....”

Lusian and Stephan, Vagon brothers decided to join hands with Athvy(King of the end)

“Together we destroy the world!” Athvy yelled and they all made a toast.

“When all these are over, you promise to bring us back to existence and rule with you?” Lucian asked

“Of course. I’ve always hated your bother Vagon!”

“He’s not my brother!” Stephan yelled.

“Good.....now as we destroy the world.....he’ll perish with it” Athvy said

“Mind you.....Vagon is not an easy catch.....He is the only demon who can control his shadow and other demons shadows......first I’ll suggest we go for his weakness......”

“We both know he doesn’t have a weakness! Right from birth! He has always been the devil’s favorite!” Stephan said

“Every demon has a weakness! Even the devil himself!” Lucian said. He was the eldest son.

Three years later Glint was 18years and she’ve been ordained as a head of knights. It did cause some commotion but with the Kings authority she was the head of Knights.

“I’m proud of you....” Bruce who was a true father to Glint smiled. Glint run into his arms and hugged him tight.

“Just wait for me am few more years.....once I’m twenty I’ll marry you.....” Bruce was shocked, Glint has always said she’ll marry Bruce when she was little but she was an adult now.....

“Glint....you’re like a daughter to me......”

“Then why haven’t you marry any woman?”

“Because I am a life time knight. I signed up for this.... you have a great future ahead of you and I’ll stand proudly as a father to watch you fulfill it.....” Bruce was the only one who can make Glint cry.

In the training ground, Glint walked in on her uniform. All kingdoms have form an alignment, so because Drahanam was the biggest kingdom all knights go there to train

“Tsk.....such a p*****t! You think because you’re the head of knights you can......” Glint glared at him “who do you think you are?” The man fired as he stood up. Bruce, Marvin and General Scout sit back to enjoy the show.

“All men stand in position!” Glint ignored him but all the men refused to summit to her order. “I won’t repeat myself!”

“This is a disgrace! How can we take orders from a little girl! It’s insane! Over my dead body!” They yelled

“If you’re willing to take orders from me come this way, but if you’re not.....keep running your mouth.....” Glint waiting for awhile only a fragile boy walk to the side. “That’s enough!” She smiled devilishly and attacked the others. The sound of broken bones could be heard, men screaming and begging others trying to run away but Glint used her whip to pull them back. About 39 men 20had broken bones while the other 19 where several injured.

Glint deep her fingers into one of the knights wound and he scream in agony “thats why you should listen to me.....hmmm? Everyone raise on your feet, 100 miles race! At once!”

General Scout and the others kept laughing “she’s a demon!”

“Hahaha now they’ll know how to respect her....”

With pains they all ran round the field while Glint and the fragile boy named Nicolas sat under the shade enjoying the scene.

“I’m glad I listened to you” Nicolas said

“You’re indeed one lucky boy....how old are you?”

“I’m 21.....”

“Hmmm......good”

The next day four different kingdoms where attack by Athvy and his aligned forces. The only survivors where the Royal family and few palace officials. This scared Drahanam. There where 25 kingdoms in total. The news spread fast as all kingdoms began to move into Drahanam. The population was too much and too heavy.

The king had to summon the witches.

This time Sasara and Mkasa arrived personally to meet the king.

“You already know why we called you......”

“Yes and I’ll go straight to the point......The girl......send her to the Underground to summon Vagon, only her can summon him”

“What girl?” The king asked

“You ask as if you don’t know.....or have you forgotten the prophecy already? We don’t have much time”

“But......she doesn’t know anything.....”

“If I were you, I’ll send her now......Athvy and his men are moving fast......they’ll be here in no time..... I will wait here till she comes back with the demon king!”

The witch ordered they send Glint alone but Bruce, Bentley , Marvin and Trevor volunteer to go with her.

“Trevor.....”

“Father please I’m the crown prince, it’s my duty....”

“It’s okay.....go well son!”

Glint was still a bit confused with all these but either way she loved the fact that she was heading to a whole new world to summon a demon king, ‘He must be so old! I heard he was thousands of years old.....’ she thought.

Vagon smiled he could sense that she was coming.

“Shadow......!”

“Sire.......”

“You know what to do..... lead her here.....”

Three days of searching and endless travel.

“Is it even possible to find this underground?” Marvin asked

“I’m exhausted!” Bentley added

“We have to keep......”Glint paused as she heard a sound. “Who’s there?! Show yourself!”

“Remember what the witches told us, no matter what happens we shouldn’t pull out our swords”

Glint and the other got to the mountain leading to Demon kingdom.

“We are here....” Bruce announced.

“Remember not to pull out your swords!” Glint said again.

They walk into the mountains, that was when torments began. First there was lost souls running about causing extreme cold.

“Stick together!” Marvin yelled!

Different sound could be heard but no one knew where it was coming from.

Trevor felt something grab his legs “something is grabbing my legs!”

“Don’t move!....” Bruce yelled but it was too late as Trevor struggle to break free but he was drag into the ground and it sealed.

Marvin panicked and drag out his sword “Trevor!!!”

“Marvin no!!!!!!” Glint yelled as Marvin disappeared into thin air...

Only Glint, Bruce and Bentley where remaining.

“This is not good! We have to find the prince!” Coles panicked

“We have to get to the mountains before tomorrow I think this is all a distraction...”

“Shut up Bruce you always act like you know it all.....”

Just like that the two knights engaged in an arguments....

“Both of you STOP!!!! Are you out of your minds?.....” Ira looked around and noticed children with black eyes everywhere...... A lady was beside them. Trying to know what’s going on, Bruce and Bentley already dragged out their swords and they both disappeared. Only Glint was left.
