Kaylee eyes slowly open, to find Xavier waiting for her. He showcases a glass jar, filled with the well preserve featus.
"Second child to my collection" he boasted, his hand waving it in front of her. "I warned you, I told you I control you, every single thing, so just know, any time you get pregnant without my permission, just know I will add them to my collection" he threatened, his eyes growling at her.
"I will give you the grace to get better," he mutter, before turning to leave.
"You think I wanted this" Kaylee softly spoke, about to get hit when Xavier stop them.
"You should have taken your pills" he sneer. "No, I meant this marriage, I love someone before you, I was force to let that someone go because daughter are meant to only build connections"
"I was open minded about this, maybe your past is what makes you like this, I tried liking you, I gave excuse for all your actions, and yet, over and over again, you hurt me, you treated me more than trash" she yelled, her eyes watery.
"Two child, the only thing I could hold on to, you killed them," she broke, her voice softening.
"I guess it good, maybe fate doesn't want your kind to be born twice, so go on, don't worry, next time, if there is a next time, I will kill them myself, before you even get to find her"
"I am done, I am done trying to make things work" she said with gritted teeth. "So what, it's not like you can escape" hr boasted.
"I know, but I can kill you, it's just a year into our marriage, give me two more years and I will burn your empire to the ground"
"Xavier, I am going to kill you, the world will want to know how but your death will remain a mystery"
"So go on, continued with your torture, but it will make your torture long, I swear with the heavens at my witness, you will die in my hands, I will end your story" she declared, her eyes now filled with rage.
With this, She pulled off the drip fasten to her, ignoring the blood that flowed. She knew where she was, an underground hospital room but she wanted her cold floor.
"You think your enemies are those business associated, then you are wrong, I am the devil sent out to get rid of you" she whispered, close to his face. "If I don't do that, then my name is not Kaylee"
"You interest me every day" Xavier mumbled. "Good, enjoy the entertainment while you can" saying this, she spat close to his feet and walked out.

Kaylee woke up, she didn't understand why she was still seeing Xavier. She open her phone to see that it was still three in the morning.
"So much for you" she mumbled, heading the bathroom to flush down the rest sleep pill in the bottle, before throwing the can in the bin.
She walks to her bag, bringing out a different type of pills. "A new one" Michael mumbled.
"Anything to make me fall asleep" she groan. "Good night" she muttered, close her eyes.
"At least this one work" he whispered, when she was fast asleep. By next morning, both were getting ready for work.
"I have prepare a work space in my office, " but stop, seeing her walk out fully dress. She was wearing a black sleeveless jumpsuit, and a jacket thrown on top, paired with a silver earring.
Her hair was pulled in what's seems like a messy ponytail. "You were saying" she asked.
"How did your Ex not love someone like you" Michael mumbled, his eyes still lost staring at her.
"He did, but it was too late, by the time he loved me, I already hated him" she mumbled.
"I am beautiful, I know," she wink, wanting to continue but a knock was at the door. His mom storm in not long after.
"Good morning son" she greets warmly, while glaring at Kaylee. "Your father is calling you" she inform Michael, who take an excuse to leave.
"You are lucky, the lady I wanted my son to get married to, is already married"
"Too bad isn't it" Kaylee cuts in with a smirk. "Really too bad, she had more potential, money wise, mannered wise as well as beauty"
"But don't worry, I know this your marriage won't last, and I will always be ready to look for another suitor for my son"
"Till then" Kaylee stated. Immediately picking up her bag and heading downstairs.
She sees Michael hurrying back to her, stopping halfway when he saw her.
"I thought you were with your dad" Kaylee question. "False call" he replied, his eyes on his mother.
"Shall we?" He says, leading her downstairs.
"So, what did she say to you" he question immediately they were in the car. "She only informed me that the lady you were to marry have gotten married"
"Her parents must be wealthy, having a long list of suitors" Michael said, glancing at Kaylee.
"My mother told me my groom is married also, and they want to meet you" Kaylee informed.
"Who know, maybe they found each other," Michael joke.
"If we want, we can't get the marriage annulled, we didn't consumated it" Michael brought it.
"You know your mother is wondering when it will end, it will be less fun to end it too soon"
"I am sorry but this marriage may not have to end, at least not now, and not in the next three years, so if you want to be with your first love, you are free to,"
"Just know this, the longer we be together, the more it's going to pissed them off," she stated, a smile appeared on her face.
"So why don't we make things interest" Michael suggested. "Why don't we actually fall in love, so next time, they don't see two strangers marrying to avoid being forced into an arranged marriage"
"They will see two lovers," Michael propose, with Kay
lee full attention to him.
"So, are you in?" He asked, a grin played on his face.
