Destined to save them all

ALEXS' POV BANG BANG BANG!!! "Wake up you dumb b***h breakfast isn't gonna cook its self" "Argh im up Brad i will be down in 5" I hate my life so much I just wanna crawl in a hole and die no one would even notice. This is every day. I Grab at my necklace and play with the pendant as I think of my mum and hoping she is ok where ever she is. I sigh as I remember her words. " Never take it off Alex please its very important you wear it all the time. It was given to you when you were born by a very important friend. Its been a good luck charm all these years" I laugh at that. "Yeah good luck. It can't help me find you" I mumble as I wipe away the tears that have started falling. "I'm not gonna cry, I'm not gonna cry deep breaths Alex deep breaths" "You better be, you dont want to find out what will happen if you're not" My stepdad is an asshole. I wish my mum was still around that or I was old enough to leave but im not and she's not. I would say he hasn't been the same since she disappeared but he has always been an asshole never with her around of course. I get up out of bed winching as I go. I dont have time to shower first so I rush down as quick as I can. I know exactly what will happen if I don't get his breakfast done and its not pretty. I grab out bacon, eggs, hash browns everything to make an omelet he isn't fussy but he can eat so the more food the better. 10 minutes later he comes down the stairs yelling that it better be ready on the table and how he even gave me extra time. How thoughtful of him. Once he is done I clean up and go get ready for school. Shower, shave, wash my hair and clean my teeth. I grab black jeans, white T-shirt and black hoody. I dont care how I look, never have. Who cares what anyone else thinks. Not this girl. f**k em all. I grab my bag and head out for the 15 minute walk to school. I do enjoy the walk to school. I do enjoy school to an extent. Im not smart but I get by. As i walk along I like to pretend im the one getting in the car 5 houses down from mine with my mother and father and a brother and sister. Or I have friends like the 4 girls getting off the bus together, arms linked together not worrying about anything but what to wear to school or who is dating who, who is cute who is not. FML. I dream a lot. I am glad its only me though because then Brad would have someone else to hurt.
