Nothing came easy. Not for me, anyway. Everything I wanted, I needed to work hard for. My ability to control my power, sharpening my skills, choosing a peaceful life with humans- all were with great effort for me to perfect them. Even as simple as having a boyfriend felt like a force that I had to take. But I guess, those were the things that made me strong and stubborn. I never just gave up so easily, no matter how painful and lonely the journey was. “The biggest question is…” Arawn clicked his tongue and I could imagine him raising an eyebrow, the same pointed look on his face. “How did they find you?” I gripped my cellphone tightly, hearing his soft breathing on the other line. “I have a hunch who might have told them.
