Our logistical attack was broken apart numerous times as we identified our weaknesses and possible solutions to limit the chances of treason or death. After making several adjustments, we decided to keep my presence hidden unless we were unable to convince Mathias to relocate and avoid death or banishment.
Amelia was a bit bummed that her idea of transporting him in chains was vetoed by Jackson. She complained, “After everything we’ve heard about Mathias, why does Jackson still believe he can rationalize with Mathias”? I replied, “I wish I knew; I wish I had Jackson’s optimistic approach, but we would prepare for the worst outcome. Amelia smirked, “Jackson will have his chance, but when it falls apart, I’m stepping in.” I nodded, agreeing with my wolf.
