Final rankings were posted dismissing more candidates. Maddy surprised many, earning three of the top seven scores. Slowly but surely, she was letting her presence be known while I continued to maintain high scores in all categories thanks to the extra studying and training.
Preparing for our end-of-the-year exams, we were surprised to hear the King announce a warrior challenge to take place over our summer holiday. It was all the candidates could talk about; predicting the set-up, contest, and the unlimited entries of elite warriors from various packs wanting to prove themselves against Citadel candidates. Rumor has it that Royal Beta Ares will select top warriors to join the first-year candidates in the fall.
