"Edith, Lito and I just have to settle some things. I will be away for three days. Leah will stay here for the meantime. Please take care of her, don't let her go outside without my permission. Thanks sis.!" Noel entrusted Leah to her half-sister. "Dear, here are some of my extra clothes you can wear all of these." Edith handled it to Leah. She looked into Leah's face mysteriously. She was in confusion of where she could exactly saw Leah in her memories. "I think we had met before, hadn't we?" Edith asked. "Uhm I remembered!... you were that girl I saw in the hallway with Noel's parents.." Leah slipped out words that could bring her into misery. "Huh?? But..... wait..... that was almost three decades ago???.... how come???... " "U-uhm.. by the way I've got to change! Excused me!" Leah made an excused so that Edith wouldn't be able to ask her anymore. She turned around and unzipped her long red dress in front of Edith. "Ah.. Okay.. I'm sorry.." Edith hurriedly went to close the door. "Just call me if you need something.. Noel will be out for days he want to make sure that you won't escape.." She added. Three days had passed, when Noel finally got home, he went to Leah's room straight away. As he pulled the door's curtain cautiously, he looked around but he noticed no one was there, he freaked out and went to Edith's room wherein just in the middle of Noel and Leah's rooms. "Edith where's Leah?!" "Oh you're here! She's just in the kitchen. I told her that you'll be home today so she insisted to cook meals for you. Don't worry!" Edith explained. "Okay.." He answered shortly and relieved. Edith although not that confident about Leah's identity, she was seeing that the lady has a pure heart and good intentions. In the kitchen, he saw Leah in an unusual look, wearing a white filipiniana dress from his time, far from Leah he first met. Momentarily, he was stunned staring at Leah's goddess atmospheric ambient. Then, he stood from behind.. "You don't have to do this Leah! But anyways thanks for the meal.." "Oh! Noel!" Startled Leah almost hit Noel's face with a saddle. "Oops..!" "Hmmm.." Leah bowed down and smiled in the bottom of her heart. As days gone by, Leah learned how to cope things from her surroundings. She was helping Edith in house chores. Noel began to admire her for being compassionate and enthusiastic. One late evening.. "What's this?" Leah picked up an envelope near her room's door. Inside was a short letter written. " Leah, Your efforts and goodness are greatly appreciated. Noel " She was delighted upon reading the message that she slept holding it next to her chest. On the other side of hallway, Noel was watching over Leah beyond fluttering curtains. "How can she falls asleep when the door was opened?! She's amazingly different.." smiled gently as he leaned on the wooden railings.
