I made a promise to her that I would bring Brody back to her. I know making a promise like that wasn’t the best choice, but I wasn't lying. I will bring him back to her, one way or another. I lightened my footsteps as I sped through the forest. I made sure I avoided any loose branches, careful not to make any sound. I’d be quicker in my wolf form, but when I find Brody, I want to be able to talk to him. I kept my senses heightened, but the forest was silent and there weren’t any scents either.
