I made a promise to her that I would bring Brody back to her. I know making a promise like that wasn’t the best choice, but I wasn't lying. I will bring him back to her, one way or another.
I lightened my footsteps as I sped through the forest. I made sure I avoided any loose branches, careful not to make any sound. I’d be quicker in my wolf form, but when I find Brody, I want to be able to talk to him.
I kept my senses heightened, but the forest was silent and there weren’t any scents either. Not that I could track Brody, he doesn’t have a scent.
I had no idea where to start to look for him, so I’m heading back the way we came. If he was coming to us, he’d be on this path too, but he’s not.
I made it to the outskirts of the forest. The building is just in front. I paused by a tree and
