Unexpected.

After ending the conversation in a somewhat bad mood, Isaac continued his manipulation as he watched the shifting white constructs in his hand slowly grow more stable and distinct after every single of condensation and dispersal The thoughts of being able to manifest any construct that came to mind was one hell of a thriller for him… the multitude of things he could will into existence was probably more than he could imagine, when he had enough energy, he would probably even be able to will to life living things, perhaps even that deadly massive crocodile turtle from another dimension that could smash all things into oblivion was not something impossible… He could do it if he tried right?... “Okay, less drifting off deep in thoughts…” Adam ’s cutting voice broke Isaac out of his reverie as he snapped his head to look at the jet-black haired man, the other three doing the same thing. Knowing that he had successfully gotten their attention, he continued speaking at a leisurely pace, “In about a minute or so, the next battle should begin, Good luck to you if you feel you need it…” Isaac faintly seemed to have caught onto something that made him feel perplexed as he asked slowly, “Wait, the next battle should be Hiya’s right?” Adam spared him a glance as he replied, “Can’t you be a man and take the fight for her?” The question slowed Isaac down in his steps as he looked to Adam with a peculiar expression, he couldn’t help but blurt out confused, “Uhn?” Seeing his confused disposition, Adam said nothing more to disperse his confusion as he paused in his steps. A second later, black clouds of a peculiar type of energy billowed out from him as they gathered below his feet. Following the convergence, the air currents around Adam seemed to change their flow as he rose into the hair at a steady pace with a lazy expression on his face. His ascent into the air was a signal certifying the truthfulness of his words as the trio shifted in their positions, Harry and Isaac looked at each other puzzled as they wondered why they were still on the ground beside the one meant to fight while a light of understanding flashed through Hiya’s amethyst eyes as she mumbled under her breath, no one hearing what she said, “This should be more interesting…” The two males on the ground were still exchanging confused gazes where they stood when the sound of padded pairs of paws hitting the ground entered the range of their hearing… that’s right, pairs not a pair. Very soon after hearing the sounds that suggested a group of beast with obvious hungry intentions heading towards them, the dazed pair of Harry and Isaac laid their eyes on a group of red maned green skinned lions twice their heights, a total number of four of these beasts had their sights on the trio as they seemingly drooled from between their roughly sharpened looking teeth… Both their eyes widened as Harry spoke up in an uncertain voice, “Isn’t this a little too much for Hiya to handle alone, can she take them on all on her own…” From the tone of his voice, one couldn’t be sure whether he was being thoughtful and caring regarding Hiya, whether she would be fine or not, or whether he was concerned about how he himself would face a group of ferociously looking beasts like these all by himself. Whether or not it was any of the two, no reply came to his question, but Adam ’s calm voice invaded their ears as it passed all over the battlefield, waking them from their daze and causing them to widen their eyes due to the following words he said, “You three should be able to take on this group of low level beasts all by yourselves right, its time you worked on your cooperation and understanding as teammates and comrades that you are. This is a group battle so watch out for your backs, I may or may not be able to step in quickly enough to save you if anything goes wrong…” “What the…” Harry obviously taken aback by this unexpected announcement mumbled under his breath as his wary eyes accessed the beasts in front of him. Meanwhile, Isaac on the other hand breathed out a faint sigh of relief as the confusion and dazedness cleared out of his eyes, being replaced with growing battle intent and excitement. On first seeing the group of beasts he had a faint inkling that things were not as was perceived, he wondered how he was going to handle a group of these beasts when it was his turn, although he had confidence in his newfound skills, he didn’t dare believe he had grown enough to take on whole groups by himself… if the idea of the battle was actually to battle by themselves, then it would have been a bitter and close fight for him. But now that it was not as he thought, he knew it was going to be way easier, way more. Perhaps that was the advantage of having people you trust and can fight with beside you, you’d be able to entrust your backs to them without a care or concern and it’ll be just fine. And although he knew that the this was a first time thing for the three of them and there might be issues and all, he had a growing anticipation for the battle bubbling out of them, like he knew he could ultimately count on these few people who he had been with for a fairly long while now, “It’s cool… it’s real cool…” He said in an assertive manner as he tried to calm Harry ’s anxious heart, being anxious over anything was never really a good thing “We can take these few oversized weird cats if we focus and watch our backs, you’re not scared, are you?” To the end of his words, he added a teasing tone to it that surprisingly worked out, as Harry unaware of the immediately preceding anxiety in his eyes grunted slightly as he replied with slight arrogance and the courage he had almost lost present in his words, “Of course not, why would you think I’d ever be scared…” After he said those words, he was surprisingly the first to make a move as the silver axe that first made its appearance against the Iron Head Wolf appeared once again with a thud as it landed on the ground, red colored energy that pulsed with a berserk aura beginning to coat his whole body… “That’s right…” Isaac slightly surprised with his resoluteness replied with a slight awkward tone before he broke into a smile and got into a battle ready state of his own, white mist like energy condensed within his enclosed hands as it congealed into two daggers wielded with both hands. He gulped once as excitement grew visible in his eyes. “Hahhh…” Hiya witnessing all this happen on the sidelines let out a faint sigh while she shook her head slightly as she also got ready with a sharp sword in hand, looking like the most ordinary of the three. Adam watched all this happen from above as a faint smile emerged on his lazy looking face, he also couldn’t help but look forward to see what was to come, Horace spoke in his head at this point, Horace: There’s most likely going to be disorder and confusion, you should be careful and attentive Adam: Exactly why I’m standing here, relax buddy. Nothing’s going to happen… Horace: you’re making them fighting as a team? Understanding the underlying meaning, Adam replied Adam: With how weak they are; team work is one good way to cover up for their deficiencies. They’ll be fighting together much more times than you can think of anyways. If they were as strong as I was, they would naturally not need to practice things like teamwork or so, the whole thing would come naturally like we’ve been practicing for so long together. Horace: But they just so happen not to be… Adam: … He continued to look at the three below, opting not to say anymore as he for once let things flow on its own.
