Episode 113.

Adam stood in front of the entrance to the mountain, the same one that resembled nothing more than a tiny part of the mountain. He stood there as he contemplated whether he should force his way through into the mountain with a particular skill of his. Although he wasn’t allowed entrance in the tower due to the distinct difference in tiers, the rule wasn’t exactly foolproof and inviolable—for him at least. All it would take was a little extra energy than he was normally able to use at the level of strength he had regained. He stared at the entrance without shifting his eyes as he gave it a good thought. A tainted mountain of this level that tier one fighters sought to challenge the trial within it would usually have a trial that was fairly hard to complete and hence the time spent in clearing was usually a fairly long time. Some especially weak tier one fighters would end up dead once a while even if the mountain was the lowest of the low. But the situation wasn’t meant to be the same for the particular trio challenging this mountain. They were probably not the strongest group of fighters at their level, but that was only because they had just started things out. It wasn’t even much of a disadvantage as the only problem that was their battle experience and combat sense would quickly disappear with the consecutive battles they had been going through. The time they would spend in a tier one mountain wasn’t supposed take that long at all. And although Adam was aware that the mountain king they were facing was out of the ordinary, the time they had spent within the mountain seemed unlike the time they would spend even in a relatively weaker tier two tainted mountain. He was even pretty sure that they would be able to clear such mountains. Hence the reason why he felt that they shouldn’t face any form of inevitably fatal danger here. But the time they spent inside without coming seemed to be proving his thoughts wrong. They had spent time close to three quarters of a day within the mountain and they still hadn’t come out. Thus the reason for him feeling anxious. Although he still stubbornly chose to believe that they three of them were fine, he wouldn’t be able to properly calm down and wait without him understanding their reason for them still staying inside. He could have gone in a good while ago, but he didn’t want to appear to them at this point. It was why he had kept his shadow within the tower hidden even when Isaac had been flung out of the fifth floor into the safe zone. Him appearing would put a dampening spell over their fighting spirits and awareness. He was a high level fighter, that he knew the three of them knew as much as he did. It was plainly visible from his strength. And that was exactly the reason why he had to give them a space to get stronger on their own. Naturally he was fine with acting as the protector and guide of the three, but in a situation where they needed the space, he couldn’t be the one who would cause them to form a sense of reliance on a strength that wasn’t theirs whether it was consciously or subconsciously.   While all these various kept spinning around in Adam’s head and he paused to consider for the last, the entrance to the mountain shifted and warped and Adam let out a slight in relief as he could see that his thoughts on further action was no longer needed. Isaac, Harry and Hiya stepped out of the portal/entrance to the tainted mountain right behind them. as Isaac turned his head back to look, thoughts began to cross his mind. Who would have thought that a mountain like this held a space within. An ignorant person would have been unable to spot anything different at all about the secrets behind the tainted mountain in his sight as they strolled by it without a care for the world. He turned his gaze away from it eventually as he came turned to face the only member of the team who had not been able to enter the mountain. He felt somewhat sad about the fact that if Adam had joined in to hunt the tainted beasts within then it would have been extremely effective. But he knew it wasn’t plausible as even when not mentioning the rules placed about the mountain, the trial would have been impossible to gain anything from. The reason for the trial was to train and grow stronger. And if someone as strong as Adam decided to step in and gain all the credit, then it would be a wasted effort for them. So casting those thoughts aside, Isaac revealed a tiny smile as he said to Adam who stared at them calmly with an even fainter smile on his face as well. “How’d we fair with the mountain uhn, we did pretty well right?” Listening to his words would make one feel out of sorts if you were part of the ‘we’ in his words. But Harry and Hiya didn’t show much expressions with regards to his words like they were already somewhat used to it at this point. While Adam only kept his faint smile on as it widened on his face and yet grew even fainter. He said nothing for a short while before speaking up, his voice laced with heavy sarcasm was heard as he spoke, “Well I guess I really should give it to you, judging by the fact that you spent three quarters of a day clearing an insignificant low level mountain., you were actually really so fast. I almost didn’t expect you guys to be this fast…” Isaac’s smile grew awkward in the beginning as he could feel the sarcasm in Adam’s voice. And by the time his words ended, realization dawned on his grinning face as embarrassment immediately quickly followed…    Status Name: Isaac Alexus (Jaden Miguel) Class: Order of will Rank: (202 / 2000) Strength: 200 Speed: 200 Flexibility: 200 Constitution: 200 Special attributes: -Racial: -   Child of the flames -Class: -   Will manipulation (Level 1) *Manifestation -   Enhanced Spiral of will control -  Internal fortification
