June’s POV I awoke to see Hank nowhere in sight, panicking a little before I remembered I could reach him. ‘Hank, is everything alright?’ ‘Everything’s fine June. I’ll be there shortly with food, just rest some more if you can; we have a long day ahead of us.’ He reassured me, making me instantly relax some on the hay. Claud and I had stayed up till basically the brake of dawn today, taking care of Hank and his fever as Claud whittled away on root vegetables.
