I talked to Gavin for a little longer before heading over to Kate's. He is right that we need to keep him on our territory to investigate him, but I don't like the plan. It's too risky. I don't normally mind taking risks, but not with Kate. If I lose her to her fated mate, that's it. I'll never get her back.
All I know right now is I have to get her back in my arms. All the lights are off but luckily she left the door unlocked for me. A small smile crept onto my face. She still loves me, and wanted me to come back.
