Broken Glass

While Elyra's Mom was cooking poridge in the kitchen, the smell of mufflers from the three BMWs were all over the small village. Elyra and her Mom already knew who was coming—the city right next to them's richest millionare, Saierna Dieza Montefalcon. Elyra knew her because she's famous for her wealth while Elyra was just a poor, yet simple and kind girl living in a small house. Elyza was thrilled to see Saeirna because she has a small crush on her. They locked eyes while the window of the car was going up, that made Elyra blush so much. 3 days later, Saeirna went to the village again. Elyra's Mom ordered Elyra to go and give the mushroom stew that she specially made for Saeirna. Elyra's face went from blushing to shyness and her Mom qas giggling because Elyra was staring at the stew and then at Saeirna whose giving bread to the kids playing on the side of the uncemented road, and then back at the stew, like she was processing if she would give it or not. But eventually she walked up to Saeirna and handed the stew with shaking hands and toes. "Here is your mushroom", Elyra started the conversation with a blushing face. "Mushroom what?" Saeirna replied, smiling at Elyra, while looking at the basket with a tupperware inside. Oh right!, it's a mushroom stew that mom cooked earlier, weird though, because it's her second time cooking this dish because she said it's only for SPECIAL persons, HAHAHA!" Elyra laughed. Saeirna did'nt know what to say next so she just smiled and nodded at Elyra like she was thanking her but Chinese style, HAHA! Elyra excitedly said:"You're Welcome, it's nice seeing you again". After that, Saeirna smiled and went back to the car and waved goodbye to Elyra. Elyra waved back and threw a flying kiss at Saeirna, which Saeirna catched that made Elyra blush even more. Elyra walked back to her house and layed on her bed, and while lying, she replayed what happened earlier outside near her house while smiling by herself. Her Mother happened to pass her beadroom while going to the bathroom outside their house, she peaked throught the slightly opened door and laughed looking at her daughter still smiling, she laughed so hard and leaned to the door causing it to open and slam to the wall resulting for Elyra to be caught off guard and falling down the bed. Her mom, still laughing said, "Sorry for the shock and falldown!" On the other hand, Elyra rolled her eyes and stood up to lay on yhe bed again. After she layed there for about 10minutes she went to the kitchen to drink some cold water from the fridge. And then "Thug! Thug!" there was a loud sound coming from the kitchen, and then it stopped, Elyza instantly thought that there was a robber in their house. Guess what she saw beside the refrigerator where she was going to get water from? The Water Jug—its was tore open, there were slices horizontally leaving flooding water on the brown tiled kitchen floor. She was so shocked, and she scanned the whole room until her eyes drifted to the large window a few meters away to her left, it was opened, there was also mud on the window's frame, shaped like a footprint of a person. "Mom?! Mom! are we robbed?!", she shouted. But, noone answered her. So she grabbed a metal pipe leaned to a table, she walked through every room in the house, her steps becoming faster and faster each room she searches. After she finished searching all rooms, she was exhausted. Until she remembered, there was an attic. So she ran to the ladder of the attic that has squeaking sounds whenever you step on them. 1, 2, 3 and 4, 5, 6, 7—7 steps with noise. First step, she didnt care at all, until it was the 6th step, the air became so heavy that she was so scared bacause when the ladder squeaked, someone in the attic coughed. She forced herself that it was just an imagination, that she was just scaring herself. "No, no, no, noone is there, or maybe Mom is!", she murmured to herself. She went up again, after inhaling and exhaling for a bit. She saw a guy, wearing a black hoodie, black gloves but.....his pants were.. "BARBIE??!?", she laughed loudly that made the so called robber startled. "Are you gay or something? " she added, still laughing. The guy slowly turned around, and Elyra was so shocked of what she's seeing. It was Saeirna—Saeirna explained what those are all about, but they never thought they will get caught by the same person they are going to surprise. "I was going to help surprise you for your birthday" Saeirna stated. "Your mother already knew about this and went to buy cake and other foods" she added. "Well, i can pretend i didnt see you here", Elyra winked at Saeirna. "But why you though?" she added with curiosity on her eyes. “Because, ypur mother said you had a crush on me” Saeirna asked softly, looking at Elyra. “And because you saw the parts of me I tried to hide and stayed anyway" She's Right.
