HAZE
The male to our left leapt directly at me. I shifted into Arctic right as his wolf slammed into me. I didn’t have time to tell Sky to run back to Amaris. I hope she knew better than to try to stay and fight beside me or risk herself at all.
I tumbled around on the ground snapping my teeth at the wolf that was stupid enough to attack me. Just as Arctic rolled over on top of him, one of the other males jumped onto my back.
I thought he was in wolf form until I saw his hand reach down to grab a large rock that was at my side. Before I could react an intense pain radiated through the back of my head and everything went dark.
My head was pounding and I’d never felt so dizzy in my entire life. It felt like I was being dragged.
