AMARIS
The news was playing softly on our television. Our electricity had been going in and out over the past two weeks. It was mid January and freezing inside our small house, I looked at the vent on the floor wishing heat would magically rise out of it.
I coughed lightly as my entire body ached. I pulled back my hand from my mouth to see bright red blood on it. f*****g great.
We didn’t really have anywhere to hide from the radiation.
We were having an emergency pack meeting tonight because our world had plunged into complete chaos. The Alpha had secured our pack borders by doubling the patrol, but he couldn’t keep out the radiation. The shewolves in our pack were starting to become ill… really ill.
