Chapter 10
Sienna’s Pov
I woke up to Luca kissing my forehead. “Morning, wife,” he said with a small smile. I kissed him back softly. “Morning. I love waking up like this.”
We stayed close for a few minutes. “Today we meet Clara,” Luca said. “But first, just us.” He held my hand, and we talked quietly about nothing big. “You make every day better,” he told me.
“I feel the same,” I said. We got up and joined Noah for breakfast. My brother was eating toast. “You two look happy again,” he said.
Luca put his arm around me. “We are.” We ate together. Luca kept touching my arm or shoulder. It felt nice. After food, we sat on the couch to plan.
“Clara wants to meet at a small park,” Luca said. “Safe and quiet.” I nodded. “I’ll go with you. We tell her some truth and see what she says.”
Noah spoke up. “I can wait here. Stay out of sight.” Luca agreed. “Smart. Thanks, Noah.” I squeezed Luca’s hand. “We’re getting stronger together.”
Before we left, Luca pulled me aside. “I need a minute with you.” He hugged me tight and kissed me slow. “I love you, Sienna. This feels real now.” I kissed him back. “It is real. I love you too.” His touch was gentle. We stood there holding each other.
The drive to the park was calm. Luca held my hand the whole way. “No matter what Clara says, we stay together,” he said. I smiled. “Always.”
Clara was waiting on a bench. She looked elegant. We sat with her. “I know you’re not Damian,” she said to Luca. “But I see how you look at Sienna. That’s new.”
I spoke first. “We need help against Victor. Quiet help.” Clara listened. She told us some things about Victor’s plans. “He has secrets too,” she said. “I can share more if you trust me.”
Luca nodded. “We do. Slowly.” The talk went well. Clara agreed to help a little. “For Sienna,” she added with a smile. We said goodbye and left.
Back in the car, Luca kissed my hand. “You were great.” I leaned on his shoulder. “We make a good team.” He drove us back, smiling.
At the safe house, Noah waited. “How did it go?” he asked. “Good,” I said. We all sat and talked. Luca shared more about his past with Isabella. “She would like you both,” he said.
Noah asked questions. Luca answered patiently. I watched them and felt warm inside. After, Luca and I went to the bedroom. “Come here,” he said. We lay down and cuddled. “This is what I want every day,” he whispered.
“Me too,” I replied. We kissed for a long time. Soft and full of love. “After this is over, no more hiding,” he said. I traced his face. “Just us building a life.”
We talked about the future. “Kids someday?” he asked shyly. I smiled. “Yes. With you.” He kissed me again. “You make me want all that.”
Noah called us for lunch. We ate and laughed a little. Luca told a funny story from his real childhood. I loved hearing it. “You’re opening up more,” I said later when we cleaned up.
“Because of you,” he answered. He pulled me close for another kiss. “I used to be cold. Now I feel everything.”
The afternoon was easy. We played cards again. Luca, let me win this time. “See? I can be nice,” he joked. I laughed and hugged him. “I know you are.”
We talked with Clara on a call later. She gave more info. “Victor is watching close,” she said. “Be careful.” Luca thanked her. After the call, he hugged me. “Progress.”
Noah helped with ideas. “I can look up some old papers online,” he said. “Safe way.” Luca patted his back. “Good man.”
As the evening came, Luca and I sat alone. “I love how you fit with my life,” he said. His arm was around me. I rested against him. “You fit with mine, too.” We kissed softly many times. Each one felt deeper.
“I never planned for love,” Luca said. “But I’m glad it happened.” I looked at him. “Same. You saved me in so many ways.” He held my face and kissed me again. “We’re saving each other.”
We joined Noah for dinner. Simple food. Talk was light. Afterwards, we watched something short. Luca kept his hand in mine. “This is nice,” he whispered.
Before bed, we were alone again. “I love you more every day,” Luca said. We cuddled close. “I love you more,” I said back. We talked about dreams. Normal days. Real dates. “I want to take you dancing,” he said.
“I’d like that,” I replied. His kisses were sweet. We fell asleep holding each other. The meeting with Clara felt like a step forward. Our love felt even stronger.
The next morning started the same. Waking to Luca’s smile. “Ready for more?” he asked. “With you, yes,” I said. We kissed and got up. Noah was already up. “Team meeting?” he joked.
Luca laughed. “Yes.” We planned the next steps calmly. More talks with Clara. Small moves. Between plans, Luca found time for us. He kissed me in the kitchen. “Can’t stop,” he said.
“Good,” I told him. Our days were filling with love and quiet hope. Noah looked happier, too. “You two give me hope,” he said.
