CHAPTER 11

Chapter 11 Luca’s Pov I sat at the small table checking messages on my phone. Clara had just texted more warnings about Victor. Sienna walked over and put her hand on my shoulder. I pulled her onto my lap right away. “Missed you,” I said quietly. She kissed me softly. “I was only gone a minute.” We held each other close. “I love you,” I told her. She smiled. “I love you too.” Noah came in from the other room. “Clara’s info sounds bad. Victor is pushing for that family dinner.” I nodded. “We have to go. Act like everything is normal.” Sienna squeezed my hand. “We’ll practice what to say.” The drama was building again, and it made my chest feel tight. We sat together to talk it through. My phone rang. It was Ethan. I answered on speaker so Sienna could hear. “I need to talk to Sienna,” he said. His voice had that caring tone I didn’t like. Sienna took the phone. “I’m okay, Ethan. Really.” He pushed. “I miss our talks. This marriage seems off. Let me help you get out.” Drama hit me hard. Jealousy rose up. I stayed quiet but gripped the table. Sienna ended the call fast. “He’s just worried as a friend.” I looked at her. “He still has feelings for you. I can hear it.” She touched my face. “Only you matter to me, Luca. You’re my husband.” I kissed her then. It was deep, and I held her tight. “I know. But this drama with him and Victor and the real Damian rumors… it’s testing me.” Noah tried to lighten it. “You two are good together. Don’t let Ethan mess with your head.” I nodded, but the worry stayed. We practised for dinner. Sienna played the perfect wife. I acted like Damian. It felt strange, but we got through it. Between lines, I pulled her close for quick kisses. “You make this bearable,” I said. Later, Clara called. “Victor knows something is wrong. He mentioned the plane crash files. And someone saw a man who looks like the real Damian near the city.” More drama. Sienna’s eyes widened. “What do we do?” I kept my voice calm. “We go to the dinner and watch him. No slips.” But inside, I felt the pressure. If the real Damian showed up, our whole life could fall apart. Sienna and I went to the bedroom to talk alone. “This is getting too much,” she said. I hugged her. “We’ll face it. I won’t lose you.” We kissed slow. Her hands in my hair felt good. “I love how real this is now,” I whispered. She nodded. “Me too. But the secrets and Ethan calling… it makes me nervous.” I held her face. “Ethan won’t come between us. You’re mine.” We kissed again longer. It helped push the drama back for a bit. We joined Noah after. He had looked up some old news online. “Valerie might be feeding info to Victor,” he said. Another layer of drama. I rubbed my head. “She was Sienna’s editor. This connects everything.” Sienna sat next to me. “We trusted her once.” I put my arm around her. “Now we trust each other. That’s what counts.” The afternoon passed with more planning. We talked about Isabella, too. “I want you to meet her soon,” I said. “She would love your strength.” Sienna smiled. “I hope so.” Noah added his ideas for staying safe. We listened and made small decisions. Between talks, I kept finding reasons to touch Sienna. A hand on her back. A kiss on her cheek. “Can’t help it,” I told her. Ethan texted Sienna later. I saw it over her shoulder. “Please meet me. I have important info about the Vales.” Drama flared up again. “He’s pushing hard,” I said. Sienna deleted it. “I won’t go. I told him no.” I pulled her into a hug. “Good. But it bothers me. He knew you before all this.” She kissed me. “And I chose you. Fake at first but real now.” Her words calmed me. We stood holding each other. “I trust you completely,” I said. We ate dinner with Noah. Talk stayed on the plan. “The dinner is in two days,” I said. “Clara will help cover.” Noah looked concerned. “What if the real Damian appears there?” Sienna gripped my hand. “Then we handle it together.” I nodded. “Yes. As a team.” After food, we sat on the couch. I kept Sienna close. We talked about it after all this drama ends. “A real home,” I said. “With you and maybe kids.” She leaned on me. “That sounds good.” The unknown message came at night. “Damian is closer than you think.” I showed Sienna. She looked scared. “Someone is trying to break us.” I deleted it. “They won’t.” I kissed her to remind us both. It was full of feeling. “My love for you beats all this,” I said. She kissed back. “Mine too.” We talked late with Noah about staying strong. He shared how guilty he still felt. “You saved me. Now, let me help.” I patted his shoulder. “You’re family now.” Sienna smiled at us. The drama made moments like this sweeter. In bed later, Sienna curled against me. “All the calls and rumours today wore me out.” I stroked her arm. “But we’re still here. Still us.” We kissed softly many times. “I never expected to love like this,” I told her. “Revenge was my plan. You changed it.” She held me tighter. “You changed mine too. From alone to this.”
