*Adrian* Calista and I entered the building together, walking past Tara, who stared furiously behind herself. Calista was silent, as was I, but I knew we had different reasons. I didn't know what to say, for the first time, because I knew she was going through something deep. Something she wasn't ready to fully disclose, although she did confess to some of her past. The things I do know, suggest there are even worse skeletons in her closet. That's not what has me concerned though, because we all have our secrets. I'm scared that this is going to throw her into a tailspin, mentally, and I don't know how to protect her. We each get seated at our desks, and she buries herself in paperwork.
