THE BAD BOY’S FIRST KISS
CHAPTER 5
MATTHEW’S POV
“WHERE’S that girl?” I ruffled my hair in annoyance.
I’ve been following the girl who bumped into me, but because she ran so fast, I instantly lost her. She was like a bubble that vanishes away in an instant. She did not even apologize after what she did to me.
Doesn’t she know me? That is impossible! I'm famous not only on the campus but also in the city. She did not even apologize to me after what she did. She's making me mad. I will find her. I won't let her go not until she says sorry to me.
If I like her, she could be my new girlfriend. I bet no girl could refuse just to be my girlfriend, even just for a day.
I headed back to school. I sighted some students who were in the lobby, especially outside the first section's classroom. It looked like there was something that happened.
When they saw me coming over, I heard them murmuring my arrival.
Hunter called me. “Bro, you’re late again. You missed a scene here.”
My forehead wrinkled. “What did happen?” I asked.
Troy, who was leaning against a wall of the second section’s room, was just silent. Beside him was Hunter, whose hands were inside his pockets.
“Your girl—new girl—is furious. Her classmate stole her diary. She humiliated the girl and told everyone that she’s a thief and a cheater.”
“Cheater?” I asked.
“The girl cheated in the exam. That’s what Calisha said,” Troy emphasized.
“Okay?” I wasn’t sure what to say and how to react, but I quickly said, “Serves her right.” I was referring to the girl who stole Calisha’s diary and who cheated in the exam. Even when Troy, Hunter, and I are bad boys, we don't cheat in an exam.
We all marched to our room, which was just the third room after the second section’s room. Yes, we are classmates, and we are from the third section.
“Your girl is lying, though,” Troy spoke.
I smirked at him. “How did you say so?”
“I just feel it,” Troy simply replied.
“What you feel is not always right, bro,” I told him.
He did not speak anymore. That’s him. He’s always like that. He barely talks.
“I pity the girl whom Calisha humiliated, though. I know her. I think she’s a good girl. Our moms are friends,” Hunter mentioned.
“So, you two are saying that my girlfriend is at fault now? It sounds like it.” I lazily sat on my seat the moment we reached the seats at the back of our classroom. I am at the last seat of the third row. Hunter is in front of me. In front of Hunter is Troy.
“Yes, it is.” Hunter chuckled.
“Has it been proven?” I asked.
“Not yet, I think. But the girl cried and ran away.” Hunter seemed like he was concerned toward the girl. I think he really knows her.
The memory of the girl who bumped into me suddenly popped into my head. She was crying and running. “Could it be her?”
“Huh?” Hunter uttered.
“Nothing.” I took my phone out of my pocket and chatted with Calisha. We will have lunch together later.

DEVVY’S POV
I RECEIVED a bunch of messages coming from Mikayla and Yannie when I finally checked my phone. They were so worried about me. They were searching for me. They even tried calling my mom, but she could not be reached.
I decided to send a message in our group chat because I don’t want them to worry about me.
Devvy: Don’t worry about me. I’m OK. I just wanted to be alone for now. Thanks. :)
Yannie: You sure?
Mikayla: We’re just here, Dev. Just tell us when you need us. We’ll go where you are. We really can’t find you.
Devvy: Yeah, no worries. I'm OK.
Yannie: OK. We’ll just get your Mathematics notebook. We’ll pass it now.
Devvy: Inside my locker. Thank you.
Mikayla: Take care, Dev. :)
I quickly turned off my phone’s mobile data. I stood up and fixed myself. I took my things and walked on the way where my feet wanted me to be. Only then did I realize I was already at the sea when my feet stopped. I like this place.
I went to the area where there are lots of rocks of different sizes. I put down my things on the sand, and I sat down, leaning my back against a rock. It was refreshing and peaceful—things I love every time I want to spend my time alone.
I uttered a soft sigh. “A good place to forget what happened. Even just for half a day.” I had brought my lunch in my bag with me, so there will be no problem.

MATTHEW’S POV
“CLASS dismissed!”
That wonderful announcement made Hunter, Troy, and I quickly stood up and got out of the classroom. We went outside the first section's room to wait for my girlfriend. They have not been dismissed yet, but I could see through the windows that she is ready to go out.
“Hi, babe!” A girl ran toward Hunter, and when Hunter smiled, she pounced him with a tight hug. “I missed you so much!” She giggled like a b*tch. She is Hunter’s new girlfriend. Her name is Trixie.
Hunter detached her off him and held her waist. “I missed you, babe. I’m happy we’re together again now.”
I smirked inwardly. Troy and I know that line. Hunter always uses that line to all his girlfriends, and then after how long he would like the girls to be his girlfriend, he’s going to break up with them.
“Hi, Troy!” We shifted our eyes to another girl coming, which had just called Troy’s name. It was Troy’s girlfriend, Diane.
Troy just nodded with his poker face, but he held her in the waist just like what Hunter did to Trixie.
“You should be sweet like Hunter and Matthew, babe,” Diane said. “I’m your girlfriend.”
Hunter and I chuckled. “He’s always like that, Diane,” Hunter told her. “He’s not sweet with words but with actions.” That’s true. He’s a quiet guy, so one should not expect he’d be vocal. He will be whenever he wants to.
Troy did have girlfriends in the past, but Hunter and I have had the most. I am the most playboy here. Hunter is next to me, then Troy. Troy looks like he’s just influenced by Hunter and me.
“Goodbye, class!” we heard from the first section’s room.
Finally, they’re dismissed. I straightened up. I saw Calisha coming out of their room.
"Hi, babe!" she greeted cheerfully, and she hurriedly walked toward me only to give me a hug. I gave her a peck on the cheeks that made her blush. "You are so sweet!" she giggled.
“Of course, because you are so beautiful.” Yes, I think she’s the most beautiful compared to my previous girlfriends. Her face is angelic, but I think she has an attitude. Her voice is one among the proofs.
I don’t choose girls that I don’t like, though. All of them are pretty. Even Troy and Hunter’s girls are pretty.
“Thank you,” Calisha said, purposely tucking her hair behind her ear, her voice sweet.
“Let’s go?” I told them, and we marched on the way to the school cafeteria.
Out of the blue, the memory of the girl who bumped into me appeared on my mind once again. I could barely recall her face because she was in a rush at that time, but I know I could recognize her immediately. And I think I wouldn’t be at peace if she didn’t apologize to me.
