Chapter 8: "A Glimpse of the Future
As the days turned into weeks, Rose found herself spending more and more time with Reaper. They would ride together, exploring the countryside and getting to know each other.
Rose had never felt this way about anyone before. She was falling deeply in love with Reaper, and she could see a future with him.
But as they rode through the countryside, Rose couldn't shake the feeling that they were being watched. She would catch glimpses of motorcycles out of the corner of her eye, but whenever she turned to look, there would be no one there.
Reaper seemed to sense her unease, and he would often put a reassuring hand on her shoulder. But Rose couldn't shake the feeling that something was off.
One day, as they were riding through a particularly remote area, Rose saw a motorcycle following them. She turned to Reaper, her heart racing with fear.
"Reaper, I think we're being followed," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
Reaper's expression turned serious, and he nodded. "I know," he said. "I've been expecting this."
Rose's fear turned to confusion. "Expecting what?" she asked.
Reaper hesitated, clearly unsure of how much to reveal. But then he seemed to decide to trust Rose, and he began to tell her a story.
"The Red Devils have been trying to take me down for years," he said, his voice low and rough. "And now, they're after you too."
Rose felt a surge of fear, but Reaper's next words reassured her.
"Don't worry, Rose," he said, his eyes locked on hers. "I'll protect you. I'll always keep you safe
