Chapter 1: "Small Town Life"
Rose wiped the sweat from her brow as she worked the lunch shift at the local diner. It was a hot summer day, and the diner was bustling with customers. Rose had been working at the diner since she was 16, and it was a job she knew well. But it wasn't easy. Her mother, Debbie, was a drunk and a slut, and she was never home to take care of Rose's younger siblings. So Rose worked hours to help feed them.
As she poured coffee for a table of truckers, Rose's mind wandered to her family. Her mother had been gone for days, and Rose had no idea where she was or when she would be back. Rose's siblings, 10-year-old Jake and 7-year-old Emily, were at home, watching TV and waiting for Rose to come home and make them dinner.
Just as Rose was starting to feel overwhelmed, a group of rough-looking men walked into the diner. They were all big and muscular, with tattoos and leather jackets. Rose recognized them as members of the local motorcycle club, the Devil's Riders. They were a rough bunch, and Rose had always been a little intimidated by them.
As she took their order and poured their coffee, Rose couldn't help but notice the way they looked at her. They were a rough bunch, but there was something about them that drew her in. Maybe it was the way they carried themselves, with a confidence and swagger that was hard to ignore. Or maybe it was the way they looked at her, with a hunger and desire that made her feel like she was the only woman in the world.
