Ghost Story

This story is from the year 2015 when I was 9. My entire family was on a vacation trip to Puri. We stayed in a hotel which is one of our family members. We were on a vacation we all were playing games like truth and dare so my elder cousins were teasing me "look out from the balcony you will find someone standing in a white saree" and I was like "this is all rubbish " deep down I was scared as hell. As the hotel belonged to our Uncle, an elder cousin started telling stories at 3 AM, that in one of the rooms, a German family died by suicide. We all laughed in response because "who will come back from Germany and attempt suicide here", so he was like it's up to you whether you will agree with me or not. This conversation kept on going and between this, someone knocked at our door. At first, we thought it might be one of our uncles because we all were awake so he must have been there to say sleep, we have to leave early morning tomorrow. We all stopped laughing and pretended as if we were sleeping! So in the meantime, someone knocked on the door again and when he opened the door there was no one there was not a single person and it was a pin-drop silence. We all were so freaking scared .. so after that incident, we all slept and I don't know why but while sleeping I felt like someone was singing beside me in some unknown language. I shared this with my sister and she told me that she heard the same kind of thing when I informed our family one said a single thing later on when we were back home, and my uncle informed me that the room we were in was the room the German family had died.
