" I did not cut myself when I was chopping the vegetables, I am so proud of myself!", Naya boasted. "Ouuu,boo hoo,I shredded chicken!", Maya sneered,she literally shredded chicken and her sister,here,is bragging about being able to chop vegetables,that's as easy as ABC.
Vannette could only sigh. To stop the bantering,she used her usual trick, CHOCOLATE MILK!,it works every time." You know what this dish is missing?", Vannette asked, In utmost unison Maya and Naya screamed, "Chocolate Milk!"
Vannette smiled and walked to the mini fridge,to make the chocolate milk, yesss apart from sweet pastries,she was the best in making hot chocolate or chocolate milk,her coffees and smoothies were to die for!
Coming out with three glasses of the warmed up chocolate milk, Naya and Maya beamed immediately.
"Mmm, everything tastes better with chocolate milk!", Naya blurted out. "For once,you have said something that makes sense!", Vannette joked.
Maya stuck her tongue out at Naya,as a way to make fun of her. "She's making funny faces at me!,you know you look so ugly with those faces,arghhh you are so ugly, Maya! ", Naya stuck her tongue out too.
" Enough already. Maya ,it's your turn to do the dishes.", Maya who was laughing at her younger sister, frowned immediately. This time, Naya laughed, " Hahaha,wash the dishes,my slave!"
"You are looking for trouble, ma'am." Maya said,but Naya could smell the threat under her breath making her gulp,one thing, Maya's hand was made of iron (figure of speech,it just means , it's so painful!), Her beatings are unbearable, Naya decided to keep shut.
" Maya,you are not done with your chocolate milk,can I take it?", Naya asked softly, hoping Maya would say yes,Naya was done with hers though,but she needed more.
" Try it and your favourite doll gets it.", Maya simply replied , smiling too. " In other words, Maya said no.", Vannette interpreted to make it clear.
" I know, don't rub it in !",Naya sighed exasperatedly. " Sorry.", Vannette apologized with a hint of sacarsm.
When Maya was done with the dishes, they headed upstairs. " Vannette,did you bring some left over pastries for us?"
"Nope, the bakery was so empty!, somehow... Everyone was in a rush to buy my pastries,I mean.. it was so hectic,but at least, now I can rest before tomorrow.", Vannette said fluffing her pillow and prepping herself to bed.
" Oh... We can come assist you ,so it would be less stressful.", Naya said offering a hand to assist Vannette.
Maya shot her a deadly glare,' don't even dare,I don't want to help her out.', that was what her eyes read.
" Seriously?, Because, Maya is lazy.", Vannette laughed, " haha funny!, I am not lazy.", Maya hissed.
"Then, prove it,help me out tomorrow.", One thing, Maya cannot resist a challenge, and, Vanny used it as her advantage.
"Fine.", She involuntarily accepted,as they settled in Vannette's bed to sleep. Enjoying the warmth of the other.
