I walked down this dark and humid hallway while occasionally glancing back to check if anyone was following me or not. After Alpha Brynmor came out of my room, I moved straight to the basement.
I once accidentally heard from a soldier that in this pack there is a secret passage that connects the pack with the outside of the pack, this passage used to be used by people living in the palace to escape during an attack.
Alpha Brynmor must have realized that I wasn't in the room right now, so I had to quicken my pace if I didn't want to get caught again.
