"Do you know how your family is doing right now, Fiora?"
I instantly turned my head when I heard Alpha Brynmor's question. He was lying beside me with his eyes closed, making me almost think I was hallucinating if I hadn't seen his fingers playing with the ends of my hair.
"No, Alpha. Even when they're happy, you know that they never let me know, especially when they're down like this. They must be embarrassed to just send me a letter," I retorted with a bitter smile. I then turned my body to face Alpha Brynmor. "Do you know something, Alpha?"
