Zoe’s POV

Hindi ko alam kung anong nag yayari sa paligid. Blanko ang aking isipan at bigla na lang akong na pa luhod di ko na alintana ang sakit nag anit ko, kamay at tuhod mula sa pagkakabagsak… para akong na matay ng pa ulit ulit sa sinabi nya…… he killed me.

It feels like a thousand long knives was peirce to my heart when I heard him say all of it and the way he looks at me like I’m the worthless s**t that he saw.

My world shuts and all I can see is black Iike I was seating in a dark tunnel and I can’t see the end… there is no light.

Rei’s POV

All I feel is anger to the man infornt of me…. How can he said all those f*****g words to her,

“This meeting between two clan is forbidden on the 4 families rules” Sasuke said

“Do what ever you want to that woman” he said and walk out of the house.

What the f**k! Is that it? He will not fight to get his girl? What a jerk!

My phone rings, I fished my phone in my pocket and answer the call without looking the f*****g screen

“I instructed my son not to engage in a flight with your clan” the current head of the Tanaka Clan said on the other side of the call

“What the f**k did you do Haruto” I snarled at him

“This is for there own good… take care of the girl for me” he said and ended the call

“Rei, just want the f**k happened?” Fuji asked.

“Haruto, just pushed the buttons” I growled at him and I look Zoe still on her knees. I drop on my knees to check on her and at the same time I get my combat knife and cut the f*****g rope, I saw red line on her wrist s**t I place the rope to tightly.

“Hey, Zoe.....” I said to her but I got no responds

“Zoe, Lets go..” I said sweetly to her but still no reponse I can’t see her face since her hair was in the way together with the prosthetics.

I shove a large clamps of hair covering her face and tilt her face, as I made contact with her eye all I can see is an emotionless and dead eyes…… No, no, no….. You can’t fall down to the pit hole! My mind screams for her

”Zoe! Snap out of it! f**k” I shout at her but she did not flinch or move.

What the!

“Rei, we have to get out of here” Fuji said…. I was back on my alert mode and carried Zoe out of this place. Once we are inside of the SUV all my men gathered and got inside of the cars and followed us.

Zoe is crying but I can’t see any void emotion on her eyes.

“We are bathing on your cries blood Zoe” that all I voice out

I bathed in your blood and cries since we did this to the both of you.

“Fuji” I called my 1st in command

“A criminal is in the basement of the house… his your to vent your pent up anger” he said

I did not reply, I place my hand on Zoe’s waist and hug her tightly.

“I’m so sorry, love, I’m very very sorry” I whispered in her ears until we reached home.

5 days after the meet up in our ancestral house

I called to our family doctor to check Zoe since she is not moving, eat nor bath, one of the maid help her do all that but she did not want to eat today we replace the empty IV fluids that was connected on her wrist just to hydrate her. The doctor diagnose her with a blackout shock syndrome.

The doctor said “The Lady’s emotions must be high that time like she felt the pain, anxiety, or shock can cause blood pressure to drop. This is the reason why she faint and she wants to forget all of it. All you have to do is understand her and be paitent, also this make take months or years before she will recover”

Damn, I also contribute to her state right now.

And I killed 5 criminals already since then… I vented my anger on them on what was happing to Zoe…

As I saw her as the days passed all I see is a dead and broken woman. I did get her but she was broken.

Is she beyond repair? Can I fix her? Can I make her smile? That are the freaking questions that’s been bugging me.

She will open her eyes and look at the ceiling like she can’t see at thing she will urinate and defecate on the bed this pass few day is a real s**t for me… I can’t see her like this. I just can’t.

But I have to help her move forward.

I talked to her even I won’t get an answers, I pushed her wheel chair to go to the garden, I tried to feed her some light meals even she won’t open her mouth.

It’s been a month since she is in this state………

“Hey Zoe, I’m here its time for us to go outside” I said to her like always she did not look back in to me.

“You know I did talk to Shane your bestfriend she is looking for you and she said the she misses you so much.” I said… it is true that I and Shane has a communication and we just talk about Zoe.

Zoe move her head and look at me. I was shocked and look her in her eyes.

“Shane….” She whispered, in my shock I wasn’t able to talk to her instantly….

“Y-Yes… Shane and I talk about you” I said and look at her expectantly but she did not talk back

Fuck that’s an improvement, I’m doing right thing

It was lunch time and I attempt to let her sip a soup, I push the spoon on her lips and I don’t have a high hopes that she will open but damn Zoe open her mouth and drink the soup. I smiled at her.

“Your doing great Zoe” I said to her and she just look at me, she drink 7 spoon of brough that is a big improvement to her condition.

I bring her back to her room so she can take a nap, once I palce her on her bed she closed her eyes and it take 10 minutes before her breathing is even.

“Were taking the baby step Zoe…” I whispered

“Baby steps” isaid again and kiss her forehead and left her to do some of my job as the Yamaguchi Clan’s head.

As the days and another month go’es by, Zoe improve and my resident doctor remove the IV on her since she was eating back, she also gain the weight that she lost, but she will talk if she feels to talk but its okay atlease I can see an improvement on her.

“I’ll be by your side Zoe, I’ll help you stand on your own 2 feet again, and that is my promise to you” I said to her and that is my vow that I will not break.
