Chapter 17

*** Silver Moon Pack ***

Next day early in the morning Ariana finally woke up. After waking up she found Serena and Daniel by her side. Both of them were awake but lost in their own thoughts.

"Ahemmm, can I get some water." Ariana called them out.

Serena got up and helped Ariana to sit up and drink water.

"So, are you going to tell me everything?" Ariana asked.

"Hmmm. I guess, I cant delay it anymore. I will tell you everything but you will have to hear it all before coming to any conclusion. Please. And if you have any question you can ask in the end. But promise me you will hear it till end and then only decide." Daniel knew he cant delay it anymore but didnt know how to tell her about Serena.

Finally after gathering all his strength he started telling Ariana.

"That night when I left you alone even after finding out that you are my mate, actually I panicked and couldn't come think straight about what to do so I ran away. I will tell you the reason in the end." Daniel stopped to see whether Ariana will object on it or not. When she didnt say anything, Daniel got up and walked to the window.

"After I came back I realised what I did. I felt guilty over it. I realised that I must have atleast given you the explanation before running away. I decided to look for you next day to explain everything to you. But, before I could do anything I felt it. I am sorry, I am sorry I couldn't protect you. I failed you." Daniel couldn't continue anymore. He started crying. He cried for Ariana, her pain, his foolishness, his inability to do anything. He cried for failing to protect his mate, for letting her get hurt.

All this time Ariana was sitting like a statue. She couldn't forgive Daniel, neither hate him. She didn't know what to do or what to say. Serena wanted to do go and console Daniel but she couldn't do it before telling Ariana about her relation with Daniel. So, she kept looking at Ariana and Daniel.

Finally, Daniel gathered himself and continued,

"I felt everything that you went through. I wanted to help you, to protect you but I didn't even know your name. We got your sketch made and sent people to search for you. Finally, we got your name and address but found out that it was the old address of your mother before she met your father. But, it was a deadend as no one lived there. Even your surname was not same, so we thought you might be different person. But we came to the conclusion that you might be from Midnight Moon Pack."

"Then, Alex and his father with Remo came here for wedding planner. We thought this is a good chance to know about you so, we decided to go ahead with it. But, before the event I again felt your pain and then lost you. I couldn't feel you anymore. Dom, my wolf got mad thinking you had died. So, we decided to give our life too. But, before we could harm ourself Val came and got me sedated. He continued with the search in order to get revenge for us. His search took him to Alex's wedding, where he met Elder Drew and found you. Val with Elder Drew's help brought you here secretly. And that too just on time."

"Your presence helped me and brought me back but, you were just a shell. Doctor said due to shock you became like this and it will take time for you to recover. Everything was going fine, when suddenly Alex reached out to Elder Drew asking him for your whereabout. We didn't want to tell them but it was unavoidable. So, we told them that you are here. They wanted to meet you, so we allowed them to come but after your condition improves."

"I underestimated them. I thought that they will wait until then but few days ago they came all of a sudden. I sent them back at the time but, I knew I couldn't delay them anymore else they would have brought other packs with them. So, I asked them to come 2 days ago, but told them to not come infront of you. We were not sure about the impact it will have on you. But, I underestimated them again and Remo barged in."

"After seeing him you fainted and rest you know it." Daniel concluded, purposefully delaying about Serena.

"Ariana, I wanted to kill them, destroy them so badly but, I wanted you to be there to see their end. So, I waited. I promise you I will get your revenge and stand by your side even if you reject me as your mate. Ariana, the reason why I panicked and left you that night is Serena. Serena is my mate too."

After saying this Daniel held is breath. But, Ariana didnt react. After sometime Ariana said,

"My guess was right. When you said your name I had an inkling that you are the famous wolfire Alpha Daniel Brown, with Serena's presence I was almost sure about your identity  but, after hearing everything out it was confirmed. Serena is your vampire mate and everyone knows about her. So did I."

"Hahaha... Look at my destiny, the guy whom I loved since childhood became my r****t. Not only that he gave me away to his friend like I was an object. They both destroyed me. Whom I considered as my parents were in actual my parents murderer. Upon that my mate is not mine. My life is a joke. Hahaha." Ariana laughed until she started crying.

Daniel and Serena wanted to hold her but didnt have the guts to do so. After all they too were the reason of her pain. She cried until there wasn't anymore tears left.

"Ariana, I am sorry. I too dont know why I got two mates. I know you dont deserve all of this. You deserved someone who will love you and only you. But, I love both of you. Its my destiny to love you both even if you dont love me back. If you want, you can reject me. Decision is in your hands. But, know I will always support you in all your decisions. I have only one request, before deciding anything please give me one chance. Just one chance to prove myself." Daniel requested.

"Ariana, I am sorry too. I am the reason Daniel left you alone that night. I am also responsible for all your pains and suffering. Please forgive me. I just have one request to you. Please give Daniel this chance." Serena said

"I want sometime to think about it. You both can go now. I want to stay alone." Ariana replied without any emotions in her voice.

Serena and Daniel nodded in understanding and left. Before Daniel exited, Ariana asked him,

"Why didnt you reject me and save yourself from all this suffering?"

"Its my fault that you went through all that. I must have kept my cool and brought you with me to decide about our relation. Infact, its your right to reject me as I am the one with a mate. Also, I couldn't let you suffer alone." Saying that Daniel left the room leaving Ariana in her thoughts.
