I sighed as I left Keira’s room. I knew she was upset about what happened and I was upset with myself.
‘I almost killed her.’
I kept telling myself that it was not my fault but it just didn't work. I kept remembering how she gradually changed and how long she’d been lying, unconscious. She was almost killed by the food I gave her.
I sighed regretfully and headed for Grandpa’s room.
“Oh! Why are you here? I told you I am fine here alone. Just focus on your marriage and the company.”
That was how Grandpa greeted me with a confused face. He even knotted his forehead.
“Why are you still awake? You should be resting by now.” I told him.
But instead of answering me, Grandpa asked me back.
“Something wrong? Do you have a fight with your wife?”
I chuckled. “Are you a seer now?”
