I was surprised to see Theo in the lobby. It was past office hours and he was here already. Or he had been here since this afternoon?
“Hey…” I greeted him.
He quickly smiled upon seeing me.
“Do you always come home this late?”
I frowned and checked my wrist watch.
We started walking towards the exit door. Our security guard gave him a salute and he smiled at him. We head for the parking area.
“It was just eight.” I said.
“Yeah. You should be out by five. That’s the standard office hours.”
I giggled. “I need to work hard. I’m just an entry-level accountant.”
