You know the original seven deadly sins, right? Melodias, the dragon's sin of wrath; King, the grizzly's sin of sloth; Diane, the serpent's sin of envy; Merlin, the boar's sin of gluttony; Ban, the fox's sin of greed; Gowther, the goat's sin of lust; and Escandor, the lion's sin of pride. This group of soldiers was known throughout the land for their strength and ferocity, but what you don't know is that there is one more sin, a sin that people rarely hear of and no one wants to meet; Janis, the hydra's sin of deception.
Mainly used for infiltration and assassination, she was used to keeping to the shadows and seeing the distrust in people's eyes when they saw her. When the Great Holy Knight was found dead, even the other sins turned on her and blamed her for his death. Ten years later, Janis is working on a farm, trying to forget what had happened in the past; she was a shy, sweet girl who only killed because she was commanded to, not that made her feel any better. The sins she had committed were many, and they weighed heavily on the girl's shoulders; so, this chance to be at peace was a rare opportunity for Janis.
When she sees the princess walking by in rusted armor, she gets curious and decides to follow; then things take another turn when she sees Meliodas, her captain. Unsure if she wants to reveal herself to them yet, she takes their safety upon herself and begins to protect them from a distance. When will they see everything she has done for them? Will the Sin's ever get to know who Janis really is?
