There were two types of mating ceremonies in the Shadowmoon Pack.
One commonly done was the Open Marking Ceremony and the other was just a regular wedding of sorts.
The Open Marking Ceremony was when a couple had their mating ceremony, and have to mark each other, there and then, right in front t of everyone.
Although, in that case, it wouldn’t actually be a real permanent marking, because permanent markings are done during heats or s*x, but a temporary marking was always used. Just a signature that the ceremony had ended and the parties involved had now become legitimate mates.
