“Zaira.” Darla walked up to Zaira and her mates while we were eating.
“Hmm.” She hummed in response as she ate some salad.
“I saw something crazy today and I think you might be able to provide some answers about this...” Darla said with a serious expression.
Zaira paused in her chewing and motioned for Darla to go on.
Kane, Zade, and Ares sat quietly and listened.
“What relationship does your mother have with Alpha Ronald?” Darla asked.
“Not much. Not enemies but definitely not friends. He is only keeping her in the pack because he wants to show that he can be magnanimous. I doubt she’ll suffer too much before we save her.
