Zaira’s POV
I was honestly beginning to think I had a hearing impairment.
“Alpha Ronald.” I think I had heard my mother say in response.
“Mom...you...how?” I spluttered out in shock. I took a step back and tried to steady myself.
“Alpha....Ronald?!” I repeated. My mother solemnly nodded.
“But that doesn’t make any sense. Alpha Ronald is the Alpha of a completely different pack and isn’t he Alpha King Leo’s brother? How and why would he...” I didn’t dare to finish my sentence. The entire conversation didn’t make sense to me.
“Brothers, yes, but just like the Heirs, they had once been in a fight for the throne. This isn’t as shocking if you look at it from that angle.” My mother took a seat as she spoke. I still couldn’t believe it though. Her words made the entire situation even more
