Josh was back. A lot had changed since that one steamy encounter on New Years Eve. Freya was no longer the carefree, whimsical soul Josh had lusted after. She was strong, confident and had no time for bullshit... but she also had secrets. As much as she wanted to stay away from him, she could not resist the magnetic pull towards Josh. Just as she decided to give in, her past caught up with her and her whole world came crashing down again.

Beer Garden
“Two schooners of Fat Yak,” Liam said to the barman as I leaned with my back to the bar rubbing my face with one hand. The jetlag was starting to hit hard. I’d only arrived back in Melbourne yesterday, and had hit the ground running in the office this morning. There was a lot to get sorted before tomorrow’s merger meeting and having a drink at the pub was the last thing I wanted to be doing. But, Liam had been very convincing when explaining how socialising with our colleagues after work would be good for ‘team bonding’… ‘Team bonding’ my ass I thought as I watched Liam eye off two leggy blondes as they sashayed past us. I c****d one eyebrow at Liam indicating that I had seen through his rouse. “What?” he responded shrugging his shoulders, feigning innocence. I grabbed my beer from his hand and headed towards the beer garden. The main bar was overcrowded, and being late November it was way too hot in here. As I passed through the doors to the beer garden, I accidentally bumped shoulders with a woman trying to enter the main bar. “Oh, sor-” I apologised looking down at the woman. “Freya?” I exclaimed. She looked up at me, her annoyance turning to surprise. “Josh? Oh my god, hello!” She cried, placing a friendly peck on my cheek. My eyes wandered her body, she was wearing black 5inch pumps, a tight knee-length grey pencil skirt that hugged her hips and ass perfectly, and a high neck black button up blouse accentuating her round breasts. Her hair was pulled back in a high ponytail with her bouncy auburn curls spilling down her back. A very corporate look that she somehow made look sexy. My eyes came back to hers to discover she was smirking. Clearly, I had not been discreet in checking her out. I went to say something when a male voice boomed, “Joshua Mason in the flesh!” I followed the sound of the voice to see Elliott Thompson, Freya’s older brother striding towards us. Elliott and I had been in the same grade at school and then hung out throughout university as we both studied law at the University of Melbourne. Shaking hands he continued, “What are you doing back here, mate? Last I heard you were running your father’s London division.” “Elliott, hi,” I beamed back, returning his handshake. “Yeah, still working in London. I just came back to oversee the legals of the merger with your father’s company tomorrow.” “Ahhhh, good good!” Elliott nodded. “Freya is now working with us. Did you know?” “No, I did not,” I replied turning to face Freya again. “I am surprised, the last time I saw you, you thought corporate finance was soul-sucking!” “Yeah, I finally gave in to the dark side!” She joked. “A lot has changed in the last 10 years.” She added. Yep, she was not wrong. A lot had changed since I last saw Freya. I started thinking about that night. Freya was 18, she had just finished high school, and I was 21, and just about to start the last year of my degree. Freya and her best friend Rachel had tagged along with Elliott and a group of buddies to the Falls Festival in Lorne. It was the last night, New Year's Eve, and up until this point the festival had been a blur of alcohol, dancing and collapsing into our tents exhausted at 2 am only to back up the next day. Freya was a free-spirited kind of girl, yet still possessed an air of innocence about her. She was an aspiring artist, and always had paint stuck under her nails or splattered on her clothing. Freya’s hazel eyes were captivating with tiny flecks of gold in them. Her pale skin was flawless and her plump peachy coloured lips and cheeks made her look like she belonged in a renaissance painting, and her hair was a mass of large auburn curls that cascading untamed around her face really finished off that renaissance feeling. I was mesmerised by her as she jumped around to the music. She was beautiful, her curls bounced along with her, almost keeping time with the beat. I could see her n*****s faintly through the thin fabric of her blue petticoat dress, as she was not wearing a bra. This realisation made my c**k twitch. It was ridiculous how much I wanted her. As the song ended, Freya came bounding up to where Elliott, Liam and I were standing breathless, stating she needed to go out for some air. I immediately piped up “I will come with you, it isn't safe to be wandering around the festival at night alone.” Elliott nodded at me approvingly, as we made our way out of the sweaty throng of party-goers. “Ahhhhhh!” Freya sighed, flopping down in the grass, her arms splayed above her. We had found a quiet spot at the top of the hill. “this has been the best weekend.” She looked up at me and patted the grass beside her, indicating for me to lay down with her. As I settled in beside her, Freya rolled on her side to look at me. “So, what are you going to do after you finish your degree?” I looked up at her inquiring eyes. The lights from the main stage made the gold flecks in her eyes glitter, I could get lost in those eyes. f**k, Josh, this is Elliott’s little sister. Concentrate! “Wow, such a hard-hitting conversation for New Year's Eve,” I tease before answering seriously, “Dad wants me to move to London and take over the offices there.” “You sound so excited,” she responds sarcastically, with a smirk. “Is that what you really want?” “Yeah, I guess,” I replied uncertainly. “I didn’t study financial law for 4 years just so I could have the piece of paper.” “Fair enough,” she seems displeased with the lack of conviction in my response. Not wanting the conversation to end, I roll onto my side to face her and ask, “And what do you plan to do now that you have finished school? Join the family business?” I tease her. Freya groans. “NEVER! Corporate law and business acquisitions are soul-sucking. I could never be a corporate stiff,” she declares. “Thanks,” I reply, feigning offence. “s**t, sorry, I didn’t mean you!” she apologises hastily. “That’s fine. I am not really offended,” I chuckle. “So really, do you have any plans?” Freya’s face lights up as she launches into an animated explanation of her plans. “I am taking a gap year to backpack around Europe with Rachel. Daddy wasn’t too happy with that decision, but when I explained to him that I would spend that time refining my artistic skills by taking art classes in every major city, he could hardly say no… he has always told me to pursue my passions, and that is what I intend to do!” “Sounds like it will be a fun year,” I smile at her. “I cannot wait!” She beams. Ugh! I didn’t think she could get any cuter, but seeing her face so full of passion talking about her plans makes me want her even more. Before I realise what I am doing, I reach out and tuck a stray curl behind her ear. Freya looks up into my eyes shyly, biting her bottom lip. f**k! I cannot resist any longer and I hungrily press my lips into hers. She eagerly responds, wrapping her arms around my neck pulling me down on top of her. The kiss intensifies and I bite her lip as I grind into her hips. She gasps slightly, and I take the opportunity to thrust my tongue into her mouth. Freya arches her back and wraps one of her legs around me as I move my mouth to her neck. I run my hand up her thigh to her bare ass. I quickly pull away from her neck, to stare into her eyes as I realise a bra isn't the only thing Freya did not put on today. Freya flashes me a wicked smile as her hands move to unbutton my jean shorts. I go to stop her, “We’re out in the open at a festival. We cant do this.” Freya lets out a little giggle. “We are so far away. No one is paying attention.” “But what if someone catches us?” I hesitate. Freya is now pulling on the zip of my shorts, gently rubbing her thumb over the tip of my p***s. I audibly groan. “Are you too afraid to live a little, corporate stiff?” She teases, placing emphasis on the stiff, as she eyes my erection. “f**k it!” I declare, crashing my lips into hers… “Earth to Josh,” Liam snaps his fingers in front of my face. “Sorry, what?” I say. “Boy, you must really be jetlagged,” Liam chuckles. “Freya was just saying she was on her way out.” “Oh, really?” I try to mask my disappointment as I turn to face her. “I was really looking forward to catching up. Let me give you my business card and we can grab a drink sometime.” I go to put my hand in my pocket to retrieve a business card from my wallet, but Freya’s hand reaches out to stop me. I look up at her quizzically. “No, that is ok,” Freya says. “If I want to contact you, I know how to reach you. Enjoy your night guys.” And with that Freya breezes out the door into the main bar. “Ouch, buuuuurrrrn!” Liam winces as he watches Freya’s stunning figure disappear out the pub’s front door. “Shut up,” I mutter. Elliott chuckles at my failed attempt to pick up his sister. “Don’t take it personally, Freya is a tough nut to crack. Come take a seat with me, mate. It has been so long, we have a lot to catch up on.” I nod in agreeance as I follow Elliott to his table, trying to shake the memory of my last encounter with Freya from my mind… 10 years ago she was not a tough nut at all. What had happened to that free-spirited girl who tempted me into the wildest s****l encounter of my life?
