Now, with her right in front of him, he realized just how dangerous the situation was. "It seems like I can't resist you after all..." He worriedly whispered, in a husky voice, glancing at her lips.

Prologue
~Sunday~ Aurora's P.O.V~ I watch her with a curious and quizzical gaze, "You will be his salvation and he will be yours..." She trails off, her expression turning serious. ~A few hours earlier~ Finally done with another page of my portfolio, I leaned back stretching in relief. I swear I think Mrs. Sata overestimates our ability to pull off doing continuous hours of assignments, without procrastination. A.k.a Satan as my fellow class-mates like to call her. For a while, I despairingly stare into the deep abyss of a future filled with nothing but more work. I glance out of my window, to find it still bright but the sun setting, making me shrug. Oh well, might as well go for a walk around the neighbourhood fro a while. Hazel's probably doing kissy faces with her new boyfriend, and Ava...god knows. Haven't seen Ma for a while either, might visit her today. I've been cooped up in one place for way too long. Grabbing a hoodie, and some trainers, I walk out of the apartment building shyly and quite awkwardly greeting the few neighbours that looked familiar. Since, me and my two friends had only moved here only recently, the neighbourhood was still pretty new and confusing. Well, that and my memory of a goldfish. It's a wonder how I got through high-school with good grades. Now, if I only remembered the way to Ma's place... Even this late the town was filled families heading home, enthusiastic conversation, and excited looking kids running about everywhere. I gazed in front of me in wonder at the countless Easter decorations, and twinkling lights above that made them all the more visible and wondrous. However, my distraction was interrupted by someone bumping into me. Or was it a wall? My two left feet made me wobble a bit, until a hand around my small of my waist steadied me. "Oh! Sorry for bumping into you..." I quietly apologised, until I looked up to find an utterly gorgeous looking specimen of the male species looking back at me with a cheeky smirk. "My pleasure..." Wow. Even his voice sounded amazing. I was utterly stupefied as I looked at his brown eyes, until he raised an eyebrow at my unmoving stature. Yep, that snapped me out of it. "S-sorry..." I jumped out attempting to hide the colour creeping up my neck. Though, before I could say anything, he smirked at me again, saluting before walking away. Looking around, I now realised how dark it was and the deserted streets around me. Plus, the fact that I had no idea where the hell I was going. Oh, popsicles. Unfortunately, I had deleted my maps app, because of my storage problem, so I'm screwed. What am I going to do now? I should've asked the guy for directions... And with that thought, I decided to hurry off after him. My curiosity doing most of the running, until I sighed at the fact that he was out of sight. Now alone in the cold, with only a few street lights lighting up the place, I shivered regretting strolling out without a plan. I could hear the sound of cars and the rush of the city nearby, but considering I was lost already, I didn't want to make it worse. That's when another thing caught my interest from the corner of my eye. I warily walked towards the lit up shop , the only open one it seemed like on the street. Many mysterious looking trinkets, candles and coloured lights covered the inside, purple curtains lazily covering part of the view, from where I was stood outside the window. Looking up at the name, I found myself tilting my head curiously at the place. Fortune-teller, huh. It evidently seemed out of place, now that I thought about it. Never knew London had places like this as well, though it intrigued me. Maybe, someone inside could help me. The bell sounded, as I walked in and towards what seemed like a reception. There seemed to be a countless number of candles everywhere, lighting up the place; a lot more than I thought from how it looked from outside. Glancing around amazed, I saw several fascinating looking books, decorations on every one of the many shelves lined up on the wall, exotic looking flowers and endless number of other things I could only guess at. In spite of the variety of ornaments decorating the whole place, I found my eyes drifting over to a mystical looking necklace. It was rather small with a thin chain, and made of glittering silver. In the middle, lay two doves winding around each other as they flew. All in all, it was bewitching, and I found myself reaching for it. I was taken out of my reverie, at a soft sounding voice, "Anything catch your eye, dear?" She smiled at me, looking almost amused. I quickly moved away, surprised at how she had swiftly entered the room without me noticing. "S-sorry..." I shyly apologised looking up to her. She seemed to be middle aged, but looked enchantingly beautiful. A black cat sat curled up, next to her on the desk, observing me with it's hazel eyes. The lady laughed a bit, at me before I smiled back, "It was just so..." I trailed off, gazing back at the necklace quickly, confused on how to explain it. She stared at me for a while, looking as if she were contemplating something, before she smiled at me again"Come forward dear." I walked forward, startled when she took my hand and began reading it. "I-I don't have any money on me though..." I blurted out, which was only met with her smiling and continuing to read my palm. Meanwhile, I felt soft fur stroke my other one on the desk. I looked up to find the cat closer to me now poking its head under my head. I smiled unconsciously, stroking it, while it purred easily, closing its eyes. The lady next to me let out a chuckle as she continues to study my hand. "Do you like cats by any chance?" She let go of my hand, though still intriguingly peering at me. I nodded, before she smiled. "What a coincidence..." She looked at the cat, which was now looking at her, and whispered under her breath. Confused, I watched her, eyebrows furrowed, "Sorry, what...?" She shook her head, before looking back at me, with a kind expression. "You have exceptional luck, with both life, career and love. Your instinct will lead you to your fate eventually, however, you cannot reach it alone. The understanding that will come with meeting him, will be the start." I watch her with a curious and quizzical gaze, "You will be his salvation and he will be yours..." She trails off, her expression turning serious. "Except, it will not be easy...you will need to push through, past the walls built around him. Keep in mind, it is possible to have too much of a good thing; there are always thorns among roses. Don't be deceived, by those who wish you and your loved one ill. And beware of the dangers that will chase you when you are apart from him at the most crucial stage. At such a time, he will come save you... hopefully" She sighed worriedly. Speechless, I gawk at her words. "Hopefully?" I warily question, concerned. She shrugs nonchalantly, "Of course, what's set to happen will happen." She smiles at me again. Wow. That's reassuring... I just stay there, trying to process everything she said, and make sense of it. What the hell did I just come across? See, normal people might laugh out at the absurdity of the situation or even just run away right about now, but I'm naive enough to believe in this stuff and take it seriously. I was even mentally trying to memorise whatever waffle she said. The cat meowing, and curling up around my legs snaps me out of my thoughts, and I look up at the lady chuckling at me. "Don't worry about what I said too much dear. Just follow your instincts." Instincts? That's what normally leads me to get lost though... She checked the mystical looking clock at the wall, before adding, "I'm sure your friends should be back by now. You should head off." I nodded, absent-mindedly, before remembering why I entered in the first place. Before I could say anything, she beat me to it with an amused smile, giving me some directions. I was freaked out was an understatement, but sighed, not bothering to question anything any more; it had started to hurt my brain. "Oh and dear, take this." She came around the reception shutting the box of the necklace, and holding it out towards me. My eyes widened slightly, "Oh no. I couldn't..." I refused but she insisted laughing a little. "A gift." I carefully took it, ending up being forced to accept it. Smiling back at her with a thankful expression, I left, with her waving to me and the cat curled up on the floor next to her. Even with being left perplexed, and awestruck, the first thing I did as soon as I left was take out my phone, and begin noting everything down... ~
