I wasn't sure what Creed meant by awakening something inside of me. I was just a normal wolf as far as I could tell. Aside from that, I did manage to survive underwater for many years without drowning. So would that qualify me as some form of a mermaid too? I seriously doubt it, but one could dream. As far as I was concerned, mermaids were extinct, or maybe that was what they wanted us earthlings to believe. I can't remember anything while being held under the water, so I can't tell you what happened or who was there with me. But what I do know is that Ava, the lake goddess, was there. Other than being a lake goddess, I wouldn't be able to tell you what she was. However, she was indeed something powerful, that I knew for sure. But why would Creed think that I was power
