Zane looked down his burnt hand and created a little ball of water around it he sighed Zane had just finished wrapping the bandage around his hand when Ember said "Care to *cough *cough... explain why my hair is extinguished" "Oh... You're awake... look I'm sorry I was trying to defend myself" Zane explained "And who the heck do you think you are *cough *cough to bring me into the middle of the woods after... after... what even happened I remember finally making it to Silver and then nothing..." Ember said "look Silver is evil he kidnaps Elementari and does experiments on them and when he gets mad gets vengeance he told me to put you in a cell but I couldn't let you go through what I've been through" "How do I know that you aren't still on their side?" Ember said glaring him "If I were on their side I wouldn't have risked my life to keep a stranger safe" Zane said "Let me help clean you up and bandage your wounds" "I don't want or need you're help!" Ember yelled she got up using the tree tried to take a step but the second she put her weight on her left leg she gasped and fell to the ground with a loud thud Zane walked over and with a word picked her up like she weighed nothing "Hey put me down!" and walked back over to the first aid kit and set her down very gently next to the fire he grabbed the gaze and turned around to his amazement the girl had just put her hand in the fire and grabbed part of it, it enveloped her hand and her hair fluffed up glowing red and orange again "Ahh that's better" Ember said with a sigh then Zane looked at her eyes which were a beautiful glowing gold he must have been staring at her eyes for awhile because the girl snapped "What you look'n at" "N...nothing" Zane stuttered he started to wipe the blood off the side of her head Ember left out a gasp as he cleaned the gash it wasn't that he wasn't being gentle Ember was actually surprised how his strong arms could be so gentle once he finished he sat down next to her and said "what about your leg let me see it" she huffed but didn't yell or anything clenching her teeth see stretched her leg out Zane rolled her pants leg up and said "This might hurt but I need to check if it is broken you did land on it funny when that beast knocked you out" "Okay" Ember answered Zane pressed his strong hands against her leg feeling for a break he got about half way down when Ember yelped "Ahhahah" "Yep there's the break I know a healer Elementari we need to get to him it's not that far from here but we need to let you rest" "I'm fine" she said "you are resting and that's final" Zane said "Oh I almost forgot my name is Zane I'm a water Elementari and you are..." "Your worst nightmare" Ember said Zane raised an eyebrow "Fine my name is Ember and I am a fire Elementari but I wasn't kidding about being your worst nightmare" "okay then" Zane said Zane told Ember the story behind each constellation as they were stargazing until Zane felt Ember's head plop on shoulder he looked down at her sleeping and smiled.
