It was almost dinner time and Zane could tell that Ember was exhausted but everytime he asked if she was ready for a break she stubbornly said no Zane looked over at her and saw sweat dripping down her face and her arms and good leg shaken he knew that she would say no again if he asked so he said "I need a break I am exhausted" Ember glared at him knowing that he was fine and he didn't need a break they sat down on a fallen tree and Zane got out some water and to his surprise to sandwiches in little baggies Zev really is a great guy they ate and Ember said "you're such a baby having to take a break" Ember gave a mischievous smile "I just thought that it would be nice to take a break before set up camp" Zane said Ember's eyes lingered on his eyes she realized how beautiful they were blue like the ocean and the sky while Ember was thinking this Zane was thinking about how beautiful Ember's golden eyes were Zane coughed looking away "Ready to get on the road again?" "What road we are in the forest you big ding dong" Ember said jokingly "okay smarty pants ready to hit it?" "Yes" Ember said Zane walked over and helped her off the tree and they resumed walking until it got dark.
