Zane woke up to hear talking and smell of pancakes he stood up and stretched and walked over to the table "Good morning sleepy head" said Ember "how are you happy in the morning but grumpy the rest of the day" Zane smiling "hey!" Ember play punched him on the shoulder "I made breakfast what do you want on your pancakes?" asked Zev "just butter please" Zane answered "BORING!" Ember yelled in his ear Zane winced he glanced over at Ember's plate which had half a can of whipped cream, strawberries, and sprinkles on it Zev saw him staring at the pancake and said "That's her third pancake just like that" "So that's why you were happy we need to give you pancakes more often" Ember glared daggers at him "and there's the Ember that we all know and love" "you are such a pain in the butt" after they finished eating Zev said "wait before you go I have something for you" he walked into the and gave Ember a pair of crutches that he painted flames on and he gave Zane nice travel backpack with food, water, rope, a knife, and a first aid kit in it "Thank you!" Zane said "Let's go outside so I can teach Ember how to use the crutches" this time Zane helped her up and her put her weight on his shoulder instead of carrying and they went outside and Zev handed her the crutches and had a pair for himself to show what to do "Like this put the crutches down infront of you and swing your leg and the repeat" said Zev "like this?" Asked Ember she clumsily made it about four steps and then the crutch landed on lose gravel and flew out from under her "Ember! Are you okay?! Zane asked running over to help her back up do you want me just carry you "No! I have to do this!" She snarled at him she wiggled away away from him and balancing on one foot reached down and grabbed one the crutches and Zane handed her the other one she started again after many tries Zev and Zane cheered as Ember was practically running with them "good bye thanks for everything" Zane said hugging Zev "Don't mention it bye stay safe" Zev said "Bye Zev thank you" Said Ember "Bye Ember make sure Zane behaves" Zev said going in for a hug Ember awkwardly patted his back while balancing on the crutches and they set off with Zev watching until they were little specks in the distance.
