"And then I helped her up and swayed on her feet and then went limp and she wouldn't come to so I grabbed the backpack and carried her here" Zane finished as he was about to get a third helping he heard aloud moan he ran over to Ember she blushed and smiled weakly as Zane helped her sit up "I'm so glad that you're okay" Zane said blushing "I am too but I am starving" Zane gave her a bowl Ember at it like she hadn't eaten in a week later after they had there fill of soup and bread Zev asked "Ember can I see your power?" She snapped and a small flame was burning around her thumb "that's so cool" he said "I don't know healing seems pretty handy" Ember said Zev beamed "do you mind if we stay the night then we need to get as far as can away from Silver" asked Zane "sure thing Ember can sleep on my bed and you can sleep on the cot I can sleep in the chair" "no you take the cot I will sleep in the chair it's fine" Zane said "okay I know there's no changing your mind after it's made up" Zane picked Ember up even with her yelling that she could walk herself and brought her to the bedroom and set her on the bed and said "Sleep well Ember" she scowled at him still angry because he picked her up Zane plopped on to the chair and told Zev good night and almost instantly fell asleep.
