Zane was exhausted but he had to make it to the healer for Ember he kept telling himself it's for Ember over and over in his head he finally saw the cottage he knocked on the door yelling "Zev, Zev I need your help fast!" The door opened with a man standing in the door "What? Oh! Come in Come in!" Zane followed him inside you can lay her here Zane gently laid Ember down on a cot Zev put two fingers against her wrist checking for a pulse saying "She has a pulse but it is really faint" Zev pressed his hand on the middle of her chest and closed his eyes his hand began glowing a soft yellow and the yellow spread from his hand on to Ember's body slowly covering her Zev pulled his hand away and said "it will take a while for her to wake up and her leg will still take about three more days to heal all the way Zane now overcome by exhaustion sank into a seat all his muscles were burning "Let me fix you two something to eat" said Zev "Thank you" Zane answered when Zev came back he found that Zane had nodded off in the chair he set the bread on the table and went back to the kitchen to start making dinner at six thirty Zane opened his sleepily surprised to see he had been sleeping in a chair Zev walked in carrying a tray with homemade soup on it Zane yawned "How did you cook that so fast?" "What do you mean?" Asked Zev "I mean I just nodded off and now you have soup made" "Oh you didn't just nod off you have been asleep for three hours" Zev said laughing "That would explain why I'm so stiff" he got up and stretched "that soup smells amazing I haven't eaten since yesterday at lunchtime" Zane said grabbing a bowl "So can you tell me what happened?" Zev asked "And why there was a girl with you" this he said raising an eyebrow "So it's a long story...."
