Chapter 13

“Axe, ang aga aga mo naman tumawag!” I said because it’s 6 A.M in the morning pa tapos tumatawag.

“Send mo address niyo!” he said kaya nagising talaga ako nang tuluyan kasi pupunta siya sa Baguio!

“Totoo ba? Baka prinaprank mo ako ha!” I asked because hindi talaga ako maniniwala kasi napakalayo tas 8 hours biyahe galing Antipolo to Baguio kung wala kang service.

“Shunga mo, syempre ipapahatid ako ni Dad diyan no so 4 hours nalang ata.” sagot niya tas binabaan ako ng phone.

Sinabihan ko yung lola at mom ko na pupunta dito si Axe tas pumayag naman sila kasi mas mabuti para may kasama naman ako. Nanood lang ako ng k-drama habang inaantay siya kasi matatagalan talaga yun. Nagprepare na ako kasi sabi ni Axe na malapit na sila kaya inabangan ko ang sasakyan nila.

“Hi Zia!” bati ni Reniella kaya nashock ako kasi hindi ko alam na sasama pala siya.

“Hala! Pinayagan kaba Ella? Baka magalit mama mo.” I worriedly said.

“Hindi alam naman niyang ikaw pupuntahan at nagpumilit talaga ako kay Axe na isama niyo ako sa mga travel niyo!” she said.

“Travel? Axe matutuloy ba talaga yon kahit nandito ako?” tanong ko.

“Yes, bakit hindi? Nag ask naman ako ng permission ni Dad na dito kami mag stay mg 2 weeks.” he said that made me excite because I gonna have an exciting travel because I am with the people who’s truly genuine.  

“Zia ang laki parin talaga ng bahay niyo dito sa baguio ha!” Reniella said while I help her fixed her stuff here in the guest room.

“Mom always send money here for the house kasi we cannot guess the time kaya nag save siya for a house.” I said.

“Well good to know Zia na stable parin kayo para hindi ka na mahirapan pa. Can we talk?” she asked.

“Yes sure Ella, what is this about?” I responded.

We went to the terrace and I think Axe is sleeping now. I even laugh at him kasi nakakapagtaka na maaga siyang natulog ngayon kasi mga 4 nayan siya matutulog kasi maglalaro payan ng ML.

“You wanted to ask me if I’m okay right?” I said.

“Worried lang kasi ako Zia kasi alam ko naman tayong lahat nahihirapan sa mga pagsubok sa buhay. Kahit ngayon lang Zia takasan mo muna itong mundo.” she said.

“I’m okay Reniella because.… you’re here. You can help a person who’s experiencing a problem just by letting them know that you was there. You don’t need to say a word just to comfort me you just need to fulfill some of my expectations and be with me when life is tough and happy.” I said and I smiled.

For me, no need to rant and drama because Dad is happy naman. I don’t have any choice because people are selfish naman talaga and sometimes it’s good kasi its for their own sake. I know Dad never experience a true love kasi he didn’t love Mom. It is not wrong to paubaya at magparaya kasi bakit kailangan mo pang humawak kahit alam mong wala talagang pag-asa para lumaban pa at sa huli ikaw padin ang magdudusa. We just ended the night with the smile on our faces and then we slept.

“Lola, ano po bang magandang tourist spot dito sa Baguio?” I asked kasi ngayon na kami magsisimula magtravel.

“Madami naman apo pero ito mga lists ko sa mga magandang tourist spots dito.” ani ni Lola.

“Thank you po at tsaka Mommy feel ko doon kami matutulog hihi magbobook nalang po kami ng hotel tsaka I’ll just wire it on my card Mom.” I said then we entered the car.

Axe said that we should go to some strawberry farm so that we can experience that thing. I had really fun and we really enjoyed the farm and we met some people who taught us and we just take some pictures in my insta mini cam.

“Let's take a break muna Ella and Axe. Nagugutom na ako.” I requested.

“Sige let’s find some restaurants here.”Axe said.

“Nahiya naman ako sainyoa mga tagapagmana feel ko nakikibelong lang ako.” Reniella said then pouted.

“Wow bhie ha! It’s not about the status of a person, its about how you value them.” I said.

“Oo nga tsaka Ella pahiya hiya kapa diyan napakatanga.” Axe said.

We had a really really tired day kasi andami na naming napuntahan tapos sabi ni Axe na kung puwede ay sa Mindanao daw kami magtatravel, ang laki ng pangarap. Gusto ko din makapunta sa iba’t-ibang lugar kaya sinabihan ko si Mom sa idea ni Axe kaya sinabi niya na umuwi daw kami tas sasamahan niya daw kami papunta sa Mindanao.

“Are you sure Mom? Sasamahan mo talaga kami?” I asked pagkarating namin.

“Yes and I already booked a ticket sa atin apat at nagpaalam nadin ako sa family nila both and all set na tayo.” Mom said kaya naschocked kaming tatlo kasi napakabilis tsaka kanina lang namin pinag-usapan tapos ngayon makakapunta talaga kami!

We woked up early because we have a 3 hours on the way to NAIA tapos 9:15 boarding namin and this is there first time na makakasakayng airplane kasi they didn’t love to travel. I slept sa byahe kasi 4 kami nagising tapos 10 pa ako nagsleep.

We just arrived at the airport and it’s really clear on their faces that we’re really excited about riding a plane. We’re ready to explore the Mindanao for two weeks.

“Don’t be nervous guys, para kalang sumakay ng ferris wheel.” I said.

“Sure ka diyan Zia ha!” Reniella said while holding my hand.

“Yes sure ako!” I replied.

“Tita 5k lang po yung dala ko tita, nakakahiya po pag kayo pa magbayad sa lahat.” Reniella said.

“Ano ba yan hija, napakalayo ng binyahe niyo para lang makita si Zylezia. Sapat na ang presensya ng kaibigan sa oras ng kahirapan, yon ang importante kaya ang gawin niyo lang ay I-enjoy ang travel natin.” Mom said.

We just enjoy the ride. Reniella said that she just felt dizzy because of the landing but she has so much fun seeing the cloud and view from the above and here we are, in the Mindanao. I hope Mom and I will heal in this travel. I hope we will have fun here. Another moment to be keep again. Thankful for the people who help me in the chapter that I never expected.
