Chapter 9

 “Ate pa cut lang po ng hair ko.” I said because today I will date myself because Axe said that I should also care about myself pero wala naman ako kailangan sa sarili ko.

I just decided to cut my hair short to have a new look and shop some clothes that I will give to the family of Celestia because its Bryan birthday and also to give to those kids on the streets. I just uses my money for the one that is really important.

“Dalawa pong bucket ng Jollibee Chicken Joy.” sabi ko dahil nandito ako para nadin samahan ng pagkain sa pagbigay ko.

I was just waiting here because it will take 10 minutes because they have so many costumers.

“Zyle! Nandito kadin pala!” Edriell said.

“Oh Ed! Yeah pupunta kasi ako sa bahay nila Celestia kasi birthday ng bunso niya so bumili ako ng handa” I replied.

“Why? Are you already part of their family?” he asked.

“Uhm well parang ganon na nga!” I laughed.

Edriell said that he wanted to help me because I have so many things to bring. Since its Bryan birthday I just bought a cake and Jollibee which is his favorite and I buy him some clothes and toys as a gift. Since I bought two chicken joy I gave it to the children where we meet last month. They said that they can finally eat delicious food for their whole life and it’s very heartwarming that I made someone happy. I wish I could gave them a home to live because they know how to appreciate some little things. After we gave them the food and the things I bought we directly went to the house of Celestia.

“Hi po ate Zia.” bati ni Bryan.

“Hello Bryan happy birthday!” I greeted that made him smiled.

“Happy birthday!” Edriell greeted too.

“Thank you po Ate at Kuya.” Bryan replied.

“Boyfriend mo po ba ito ate Zia?” Sarah asked and pointed to Ed.

“Nope, he’s just a friend of mine.” I replied.

Ed joined our celebration. We were so happy today because after all the challenges they encountered, they all healed and overcome those things because they are complete and Celestia made her self strong even though she wanted to turned back to her obligations. Even though I can still see the sadness and emptiness in their eyes they are trying to be strong because they know na they shouldn’t be stocked in that problem because you always had to proceed to the next chapter of your life. I’m thankful because they help each other to forget and forgive because they know how much tears and pains they wasted to the person who never value them.

Ed said that he’s gonna walk me home because its too late na for me to go home. Bryan said that he really like the gift that I gave because it really suits him. I hope Bryan would be happy always because he really deserves the world. I hope that I can still help them.

“You look good in your new haircut.” Ed suddenly praised my look.

“Thank you, well Axe said that I should have time for myself kasi para nadaw akong stressed palagi.” I pouted.

“You’re always beautiful Lezia.” he said that made me speechless.

We just arrived at the home without talking after he complimented me. I just didn’t speak because kinikilig na ako then Ed didn’t said anything also. I just thanked him and see him off after his driver picked him.

Today is Sunday so I decided to go to church. I defined myself as a spiritual but not religious because I just rarely go to church but I have so much faith. Since I am just alone I wanted to invite Axe but he said that they have a family bonding so I have just to go to church alone.

“Hi Zia! Its been a long time since you came here parang busy na ah.” Ate Jona said.

“Sorry po but we have a reunion that’s why its also been busy but I promise that I will gonna come here na always and I will invite my friends.” I explained.

“Sure, the church is always welcome here and since you’re here and you are one of the team leader, we have 5 guest that Kuya Madriell invited so we have to one on one them.” Ate Jona ordered.

“Yes sure po.” I replied and I’m excited to meet them.

After the praise and worship, I directly went to the room where we held the one on one. I just waited here and just practice to what to say and teach them.

“Hi!” I smiled but I was shocked because the one I am facing right now is Edrille.

“Zylezia! You were a leader here?” He asked.

“Yes I am, did Kuya Madriell invited you guys here? Well I’m glad that you guys open your hearts.” I gladly responded.

We talked about his life and how well he has faith on God and I’m glad that Edriell open up with his experiences. He said that he will gonna come here next week because he thought that maybe he can still overcome all the challenges that he is facing right now.

After Edriell walked me home, I decided to go to sleep because I had another plans to make. I call Mom that I’ll be coming home late because I think I maybe going home late. I just walked to go to the beach nearby because I think I needed to be alone. I just contemplate and I just close my eyes to feel the fresh air and the sounds of the waves. I wish life is just like this.

We’re just passing and going with the flow with the world but how come life made us miserable? I think I can answer that whenever when I am relaxed. I know that you can also answer that. You’re the only one who can find it because you’re the one who’s experiencing it. Maybe we had a different stories to write and tell but we have the same way to overcome it and I think that is the comfort and the people. If I can be what I want to be I just wanted to live here in the beach and live my life alone because sometimes. Sometimes I wanted to be heartless and selfish but I know I had to be strong because that’s not me and because I know that they will also help me when I’m tired and I know that they will be my comfort.
