To finally scent his mate was amazing he knew Garret always told him that he would love the mate bond, and scenting his own mate was the best thing you'll ever smell, but Tristan never believed him.

Alex pushed him out of her suite doorway and into his own. She fully kissed him back. He hoped that this meant she was going to accept him. He will thank the goddess forever for letting him scent her, not on the full moon. She was going to leave him he wonders if that is why?

Whatever the reason. Thank you, Selena. Alex explained to him what a phoenix is. He knew nothing about them only that they could come in white colour form. All are a form of bird. All were hidden by the council, but the enemy always found them.

Also, how a phoenix can die, he didn't like that. Jett growled in his mind. He didn't want any powers for her, just her, but he was intrigued by what she could do. She would tell him more over time, trust needed to be bulit. It had been a weird day. A bit of normality would be good since she's never had it.

He was about to walk her to his Alpha/Luna suite he stopped and turned to face her. Alex, would you like to go on a date with him. Her eyes went wide but smiled. "Yes, I've never been on one unless you counted the meal last night." she said. Well, how about we have a date in our new suite we can have a private date and show you the room at the same time.

"What type of date?" she asked. Dinner and a movie, he'll have it all set up. Will you come? "Yes, I'll dress nicely then." Well, why don't you go see your mother he's sure she'll want to know what's just happened, and I'll organise it all.

He walked her to her room. Kissed her cheek. He headed for the new suite to find his own mother waiting for him. Mother, what are you doing in here. "I thought you'd come here sooner or later now you've scented your mate," she said.

How did you know? "Oh my sweet boy, I'm gamma blooded and Alpha blooded. I can feel all of my children emotions good and bad. I sensed pure joy through you and your wolf that could only mean you scented your mate. Selena must have known she needed to intervene, " Mother said.

Are you happy about it? She walked over to him and placed her hands on his shoulders. "Are you?" she asked. Yes, it's complicated, but yes, he wants her as his mate "Good thats all that matters to me, " Mother said.

Father? "Leave your father to me. I won't feel another one of my children in pain again or lose one. He can get over himself, and that's that. I've called your grandfather Sirus anyway he coming, " Mother said.

Mother was that wise. You know he never was a fan of dad. "I know, but he's an elder gamma pure blooded and a councilman he might be able to help him with his behaviour of late. Instead of getting better. He's let his grief consume him. I should have done something sooner, " she said.

It's not your fault, Mother. We are all to blame for Father. We should have gotten him help when Titus died. We've all gone along with it for an easy life because he was grieving, but it's gone on too long. We indulged him as he made things worse. He's sorry he attacked Father. He's sure it wasn't nice for you or his unit to see.

He was just so angry with him, and now he knows why, and his mate was in the firing line. "That's the mate bond for you it will make you protect your mate no matter what. I'm hoping I can use that on your father," Mother said.

What do you mean? mother, what do you plan on doing? "If your father doesn't get help, I'll threaten to reject him and leave," Mother said. His eyes went wide. Mother, you can't be serious. "I am. All our children are grown. You're not babies. I can leave you for a time until your father pulls his own head out of his ars, " Mother said

It's risky mother "Well I hope I mean more to him than his fear," she said. When is grandfather arriving?. "Tomorrow afternoon. He had some council business to finalise and is coming with grandmother Elsie to, " she said

Oh, he'll get rooms arranged. "Already sorted, son," she said. He smiled. Of course they are. "What, were you coming in here to do?" she asked. Set it up for a private dinner and movie date with Alex. He might have overstretched himself. It's almost 6 pm now, but he was alseep for 6 hours. Mother smiled.

"I can sort that for you," she said.

Really, you don't mind. "No, I'd love to. What do you want?" she asked. Well, he thought dinner on the balcony he needed to find out her favourite dish and dessert. Set the projector up in the living area with comfortable beanbag chairs with snacks, etc

"Sounds lovely, I'll sort it, but son, I'm sorry, but you need to go see your fathers unit it they want answers. They aren't mad, just confused and worried about you and your father they've never seen you fight like this, " Mother said.

Okay, he will. He kissed his mother's cheek. He mind linked. Beta Garth, Gamma Mattao, and Delta Roscoe asked them to meet him at his office. He arrived, and his own unit was waiting for him. Are you all alright?

"Concerned boss," Garret said. Well, he will explain all when your fathers get here. Their eyes went wide, 5 mins later, a knock, and all walked in. Gentleman, lady. Raven rolled her eyes. Please sit. All did.

He's sure recent events have got you all with a million questions. Let him start with Alexandra as his goddess gifted mates. She found out this a week ago. Her shifter is unique and could sense him sooner than his. She was scared by this. They've had a complicated past, and she was worried the pack would be harmed and her rejected.

The goddess was nice enough to grant him the ability to scent her before the full moon. She's agreed to stay here. What she wants you to all know about her shifter, he doesn't know. He'll ask her tonight. What questions do you have?

"What's her enemy?" Garth asked.

Vampires and rouge wolves. They destroyed her home pack and took over it but haven't seemed to give up on hunting them. She's seen them on and off over the last 10 years. Her father has killed a few.

"Where is her father?" Roscoe asked

Missing, he went to check if it's safe, something he always did and never returned, but he knows that Alex and Brooke were coming here and he wouldn't just leave his pregnant mate. Grandfather knows they were coming here, so he knew it was organised, but he's never shown.

"What are we doing about your own father, Tristan?" Garth asked.

He doesn't know he's not in his right mind at the moment, and he will not be giving up his mate whether his father likes it or not. Father will have to leave if he can't accept her. This will be Alex and Brookes' home, and there is nothing going to change that now.

All turned to see Alex in the doorway with her mother. Alex, Brooke, is everything okay? "Yes, we've discussed it, and we want to let you intitate us into the pack. You can't help keep us safe if you can't feel us," She said.

You don't have to. "We want to we will still feel our bond to father he's family, but you need to be able to," she said.

Yes, it would be helpful. Gio elbowed her."Hello, luna," he smiled. She giggled. "Hello, gamma," she said. Tristan growled. "Sorry, boss, nothing more than gamma and luna banter," Gio said.

She walked around his desk and grabbed his hand. "Will you?" she asked. Yes, he went to his cupboard and grabbed his ceremonial knife, sliced his hand, and then hers. Alexandra Sky, do you pledge loyalty to the Black River pack as a pack member, soon to be luna and as his mate?

"I do," she said. He pressed their hands together. He felt their connection. Luna Brooke Sky, do you pledge loyalty to the Black River pack and accept I alpha Tristan meyers as your Alpha and black river pack as your home? Brooke smiled. "I do," he did the same.

Both unit looked happy and had a connection to their luna. Alex, he hasnt told them your story that upto you. They know who your enemy is and that your pack was destroyed, but he's not repeated anything else he also hasn't announced you to the pack. What would you like to do?

"Mother and I discussed it, and we are okay with telling both alpha units and telling the pack I'm your luna to be but not about my father in case he's in danger." she said.

He agreed he's going to help with that. He knows a wolf called Aston is a private investigator. He was a policeman, and then a detective now works for the council. He's going to ask him to look into your father disappearing he might need details from you.

"Okay, I can do that if it will help me find him. Thank you, Tristan." she said. Alexandra explained her full life to his unit and fathers unit. All the bad but some good, they bowed their heads and swore loyalty to her. She thanked them.

"I'll go speak with your father as his beta. I've let his behaviour go on too long. I also lost my son, but I didn't let it rule me," Garth said.

"We all will go," Roscoe said.

"Do you think it's wise he might feel your all ganging up on him and make things worse he already hates me," Alex said.

He won't hurt you Alex he won't allow it. "That's not what I'm worried about. I can take care of myself. I'm not afraid of your father, Tristan, but he's your dad. I dont want you at odds because of me it won't make me a popular luna, " she said.

"That won't make a difference. Alex, the pack has been worried about Titus for a while now. We've all just turned a blind eye, " Garth said

Yes, Alex, you stay out of it for now. He will go see his father. He'll see you at 9 pm if that is not too late. "No, that's fine," She said. She nodded and left. He turned to Raven. "Il go with her. I will see if she fancies a walk." She said. Thank you, Raven. Gio? "I'll stay close by no one will harm our Luna, and I can check the cameras while I'm at it," Gio said.

Garret, will you stay in the office. Garret looked puzzled. He agrees with what Alex said. If we all go, it might look like we are ganging up on him. Garret nodded. He and his fathers unit all headed for the cells. Father looked well. Not like a normal prisoner. He had all the luxury.

Father, "What do you want? have you all seen what my so-called son has done to me? " he said.

"Yes, we agree you are out of control, Titus, " Garth said.

"You are meant to be my friends, my unit, the 3 of you, but you condone this," He yelled.

"We do," Matteo said.

"Well then, you are all dead to me now as well as my son, the good one died. I was left with him," Father said. Pointing at him. Tristan just walked out.
