Ch 22 Alexandra

She left Tristan office with her mother. They've both discussed for safety they needed to be intitated into the pack. Mom was certain that we would still feel our family connection to him, but dad would want us to be safe. Mom was shocked that he scent her sooner.

It normally only happened on a full moon. Mom never heard of this happening before. She said we would have a unique, strong bond. We also agreed that explaining our life to the unit was right. We couldn't ask them to risk their lives and not understand the danger of it. Tristan seems very happy about the initiation.She heard a slight growl down the mind link to her. She smiled.

Raven caught up with her. "How about a walk before your date," she asked. She doesn't need babysitting Raven she's fine, honestly. "Sorry, is it that obvious. " she said. A little, but honestly, she's fine, but you can show her where the library is?

"Sure, but why?" she asked.

Well, her laptop got broke in the car crash. It was on the passenger seat when we hit the tree. It fell to the floor, now the screen has two lovely big cracks down it. "If that's all that wrong? we can just that it to the repair store. We have a technical goddess here. Who can fix anything. " Raven said.

Okay, that sounds good. "Follow me." Give her 5 mins she went back to her suite to grab it, and her mother was playing with Blake. She headed back downstairs. Tristan door was open he was just sitting on the sofa. Penny, for your thoughts?

"Eh?" he looked confused. It's a British saying. What happened? "Nothing father being father," he said. He saw her laptop. The screen is broken. Raven is taking her to see someone who can fix it. He nodded and went back to staring outside. Raven tapped her on her shoulder and pulled her out.

"Don't take it personally. It's how he thinks, apparently. It's to do with not so nice things that were said from his father, and he's processing. He'll tell you later. He okay he just needs to do it his way?" Raven said.

Is he alright? safety wise? Raven smiled.

"Our alpha is strong, and they would have to get past Garret that man senses everything with our Alpha, trust me. He's the only person Tristan can't lie to. He sees through it, and he next door watching and waiting, "Raven said.

Okay. "Protective already, I see, " she said." Oh shut up, shoving at her shoulder. Raven laughed. We walked into town. How's her family car? "Why do you want to leave?" she said. No, but she was thinking of having a look inside and seeing if her father left any clues to where he was going.

"I haven't looked inside. We can go after here and look. If we have enough time." she said. Yes, thank you. We walked into the shop. A woman she had one blue eye and one grey eye. She had long grey hair that was pulled into a bun. She smiled at us.

"Hello Raven, how are you? and who is this?" she asked.

"Hello Sansa, I'm good, and this is Alex. She's just joined the pack." Raven said.

"Oh, I've heard of you from my son." Who's your son? "Beta Garret, it's nice to meet you. What can I do for you?" Sansa said.

Oh, erm, her computer screen is broken. "I can fix that for you, no problem." Thank you. "I can have it ready tomorrow unless you want a new one. I have brand new or refurbished ones. Pack members upgrade all the time we either give them to charity or sell them on in the human world, but I normally keep a few," she said.

Thank you, but it not old it just cracked in the car crash. "Okay, no problem." Sansa said. We left Raven. She turned to Raven. What is she? she's not a wolf. Raven turned to face her.

"What do you think she is or was." Raven said.

What do you mean? "Sansa like you, her home was attacked by other species. Half were killed, and half were sent away with different council members in different realms to be safe and live their life. Trevor was responsible for Sansa, which he brought her here for safety. " Raven said.

She bets Titus hated that. "He was only a teenager himself, so he wasn't aware of what had happened to her. After 5 years of being in the pack, Garth scented her out on his 18th birthday, and she accepted him. Garth knew of what she used to be. She still had her shifter, but she didn't shift anyone hasn't since the day of the attack. We've seen a picture of her shifter. She was beautiful," Raven said.

What was she?. Alex was very intrigued now. "She was a peacock Alex beautiful bright orange and blue peacock. " Raven said. Alex eyes went wide. They are very rare. "Yes, are now. They weren't many left years ago. All lived happy like your phoenix family. The world is cruel, " Raven said.

Why can't Sansa shift anymore? "I can, Alexandra," Sansa said. She turned to see Sansa standing behind them. Her apologies Sansa she shouldn't be asking questions it's bad mannered and rude. "I'm sorry," Alex said.

"No, it alright to an outsider. I'm intriguing. I get it. Would you like to know what happened? " she said, smiling. She nodded.

"When they came in and attacked us, but before they killed us, they tortured us and removed all our feathers. So yes, I can shift, but I don't have my feathers left. The eyes feathers were taken, never grew back. I think it was the trauma, " she said.

Who attacked you, "Witches and humans people that fear or don't understand us. They wanted the magic from my feathers," she said. "I'm sorry." Alex said.

"Why? it wasn't your fault. I've never understood people who say that it wasn't your fault." She said.

She gets that people say to her all the time, too. She's sorry for what happened to you. Everyone deserves to live in peace, not fear of constantly being hunted. Sansa nodded. She might be able to help you. Sansa smiled.

"I know what a Phoenix bird can do. Save your energy for someone else. I'm good, honestly, but thank you," Sansa said

Sansa walked away, and she turned to Raven. "What do you mean you can help her, Alex?" she asked. She paused and didn't answer at first. Phoenix has special powers. Sorry Raven, that is as for as she's going to go.

"I'm your delta too Alex you can trust me," she said.

It's not about trust, Raven. We have our own laws to uphold. She might not have a pack but will stand by them the best she can we dont let anyone know our secret until mark and mated and yes she will be you're luna but that's not official yet. Raven nodded and looked disappointed. She walked away, Alex left her be.

We headed back to the pack house. Garth stood on the pack steps. "Luna Alexandra, could I speak with you please," he asked. Beta Garth, please just Alex. There is no need for formalities. What did you want to speak about?

"My mate told me she met you this evening at her shop," Yes, she did, Sansa is going to fix her laptop. She is lovely. "She is my mate. She is wonderful and I can't give her the one thing I would love to. Is it true you could heal her peacock?" he asked.

She stared at him. Beta Garth, yes, phoenix has healing powers, but she doesn't know if it will work on Sansa due to her shifter already being broken a long time. She's sorry she will only try if Sansa asks her too. She won't do it for you.

"I understand. If she asks," Garth asked. then. Yes, she will try, but dont force her. Garth let Sansa come to it on her own she's not going anywhere. He smiled. Alex headed for the vehicle workshop. She had an hour to kill. She saw Gio outside looking at the cameras. Are you playing with you're toys gamma?

He turned smiling. "It looks that way, luna. Alex, I want to apologise for the other night we shouldn't have....." he started to say. Stop we did nothing wrong. We didn't know her and Tristan what we were to each other. It explains his behaviour but still didn't give him the right.

"No, but I agree. I can see why now he was jealous." Gio said. She accepts your apology. if it makes you sleep better, she laughed. "It does. What are you doing here?" he asked

Raven said her car was here she was hoping to see if her dad might have left any clues to where he might have gone. "Come on, I'll show you we can look together. " Gio said.

We headed into the warehouse. She saw the car, it looked better, all the dents were out, and scratchers, it looked brand new. Thank you for fixing it. She walked straight to it and opened the door. "You look inside, and I'll look in the boot to see if they is anything." Gio said

She looked under all the seats inside of the doors, dashboard, arm rest, everywhere. She sat in the drivers seat and laid back through her head back, and the headrest back popped open. She turned to see a little hatch she pulled it open, and they were a USB inside

"What's that?" Gio asked. She doesn't know her computer is being fixed, so she can't plug it in. "Come, we'll use mine." he said. We headed back to the pack, just chatting about general things that we thought might be on the USB, and Tristan stood on the steps with his arms folded. He didn't look happy.

"Where have you two been together? alone?" he asked. Is he serious right now. "Oh mate, jealous, I like it," Cyan said. Cyan was not helpful. "We went to look at Alex family car and see if they were a clue to where her father might be," Gio said.

"I thought you were checking on the cameras? he asked. "I was checking them in the forest near the workshop, and I saw Alex she explained what she was wanting to do," Gio said.

"Where is Raven?" Tristan asked. She's gone. She doesn't know where. Tristan just stared at her. Alex knew her tone wasn't nice. Gio, can you take her to your computer she needs to look at this

"Yes, it's just two doors down from the Alpha office," he said.

"What's this about?" Tristan asked. Gio will explain it to you. She walked away. Oh, she remembers the last time he was jealous, he called her basically a w***e, and she just didn't want to hear it.

She walked into the room it was an office it must be Gio and Raven office. She sat at her desk. Hello Raven "Oh Alex, hi sorry il take you to your car" she said. No need she made her way they and Gio helped her. She's sorry if she upset you. "No, I'm sorry. I was a little offended that you didnt trust me enough to tell me." She admitted.

It's not about trust, Raven. She sat at Gio desks, turned it on, and popped in the USB, and the screen all lit up with pictures and files. What the hell?
